Unknown Factor

"Are you guys set?" It's been a long time, or what felt like a longtime having no time in the Anti-Void. I had a knack at close combat as my SPEED was faster than ever before, so I didn't have to use my teleportation ability to dodge on coming attacks. My blasters were just as corrupted as I was, as they had red-violet DETERMINATION marks. They also had some cracks running through the skulls. They lost their bottom jaw bone and had red pinpricks instead of their normal blue or green ones. I also learned how to use BRAVERY, JUSTICE, and KINDNESS to my advantage. My stats were different, as it never determined how much HP I had.

Something isn't right about him. He has no code. 

'Ready as I will ever be!' 

'Let's do this!' 

'Let's see what this X-Event is all about!' They all seem to be enthusiastic about the situation, having yelled in my non-existent ears. 

"Alright then..." I touched the option to enter the X-Event, having felt the code give me a new power, a hacks knife and something else... Well, I won't know till I experiment with it. 

We waited in a black void, having the loading appear in front of us. At first, we were confused till the area loaded. It was similar to the Anti-Void, but there were distant differences. First, the void was mainly white but fading to a blue towards the top. There was also child, in black and white, and Sans. I hovered the characters, having seen that the Sans was from one of the original AU's while the child. Well I won't grace it with every detail. 

The child was a bit corrupted with the X's filling some of the binary code. But what I was able to read was that they don't have a soul. Well no more. They are the first half monster and half human, having Sans' code inside it as well. It's strange really. Here I am a hybrid without a soul or code, judging another soul-less monster-human-thing's code. Funny huh. 

*Your voice can't be heard in this place.* They started as I turned to the souls. They were just as confused as me with this whole situation. I can read it in their eye-souls? This is to complicated. *You don't need to introduce yourself; I know who you are. You are Sans, and living in the True Pacifist Timeline.* This struck me as an odd. So, the Child/Sans knew them before they can introduce themselves? Strange. But what was more interesting is seeing a Sans look alike standing next to the child. He looked more like a ghost; transparent. 

I summoned the code, having seen that the ghost Sans shared the similar coding to the child, as two names appeared. Cross and C. Cross was probably the Sans due to the coding leaning more towards the Sans that the child; and the same goes for the child, but they lean more towards child's code. The place got dark as I looked over at the child as they slowly turned towards Sans. *Because... I... Am.... You.* Their appearance flickered between C and Cross, having Sans instantly summoned his gaster blasters to demolish C.
