Animal crackers and apple juice,
Boys have cooties, bugs are funny,
Chalk drawings and chatting teachers,
Daisies in golden locks, dancing on the schoolyard,
Enjoying the day, ending the fun too soon,
Finger-paints and fortresses made with couch cushions,
Grass stains, glistening across our clothes,
Hop scotch, hide-n-seek,
Ink stained skin, illnesses cured by chicken noodle soup,
Joining hands in song, jumping rope,
Kitchen play sets and kits for gardening,
Living for adventure, loving nap time,
Monday comes too soon,
No school,
Openly social, overly curious,
Prancing through the meadows of weeds,
Queens and Princes,
Rain boots and rainy puddles,
Spaghetti faces and silly songs,
Talkative to all, too bashful for their own good,
Unaware of harm, unusually giddy,
Velcro shoes, vacuum rides,
Wishing on dandelion fuzz, walking barefoot in the grass,
Xylophone bands,
Yo-yo tricks,
Zebra print onesies
