The only way to kill one is a blow to the heart. Otherwise it keeps coming back. They killed hundreds of our kind. So I vowed to get rid of them all, but there's just so many. All the same I hunt them.
One in particular was relentless. I hunted it for two months. . . I am remember finding it hunched over a body covered in blood. I wasn't normally the type to drag out a kill, but they killed my family you see. So when I finally stood face to face with one. I made the death slow and very painful. Carving out organs while it could still feel.
Then on the wall above its lifeless body I wrote in its blood.
     "Wolves remember."
If you don't kill them they just keep coming back. We are the beasts in their eyes, but humans are the true monsters. That is why I vow to kill them all. For my pack.
