''Klaus, do you still have your batman mask?'' I asked him as I walked in his room. ''I need it for our halloween party.'' I added. He rolled his eyes and looked up at me, ''Here.'' He said as he gave the mask to me, ''Be thankful that I let you borrow.''
''Thank you my baby Klaus!'' I laughed as I got out from his room. ''I'm not a baby anymore!'' He yelled out as I laughed harder and walked downstairs.
''Mom! Dad!'' I yelled out, ''I'm going to the party now! I'll be back before eleven!'' I added as mom walked out the kitchen. ''Take care, Katherine. I expect you to be not drunk when you come home.'' She crossed her arms.

I knocked on the door as Chloe opened it, ''Hey Katie! I'm glad you came.'' She smiled. I looked at what she was wearing VERY short shorts and a ripped shirt that said 'Daddy's Lil Monster' written. ''By the way, I'm Harley Quinn.'' She smiled.
''Yeah.. I know. It's obvious.'' I whispered as I walked inside. ''Well, I'm gonna head over there now. Have fun!'' She smiled and walked over to Bryce who had green hair and wore a black leather jacket. ''Wow.'' I whispered sarcastically.
I walked to the kitchen as Scott walked over, ''Hey! You came.'' He said as he offered me a plastic cup with punch. I took the cup and smiled, ''Thanks.'' I said. Scott wore a maroon shirt that had the letter R on it.
''Robin huh? Who's Batman?'' I asked as I leaned against the counter. He looked at the pool area and chuckled, ''Well it's Zach but he left me and played beer pong with the others. Sooooo I'm with myself right now.'' He shrugged.
''I'm here.'' I smiled. Scott smiled back and spoke, ''Do you wanna go outside? It's kind of noisy here.'' He asked as he looked at the people dancing. I nodded my head as we walked outside. ''It's much better here.'' I chuckled as I sat on one of the chairs near the pool.
''Yep. It really is, now that you're here.'' He smiled at me.
'Did he really just say that?!' I thought to myself. ''Really huh?'' I asked him, ''Why?'' I asked again. Scott shrugged and took a sip of his drink, ''I don't know. I really like being with you, Kate. I really really find you fun to be with.''
I blushed, ''Wow.'' I chuckled. Silence followed until I spoke up, ''Do you wanna leave?'' I asked him, ''It smells bad and people are probably getting laid inside.'' I laughed. Scott nodded, ''Yeah sure.''
I stood up and checked the time, ''Well, it's still nine and my parents expect me to be back in eleven. Do you wanna go somewhere?'' I asked. ''But I don't know where.'' I chuckled lightly.
''I know a place.'' Scott smiled at me as he took my hand and led me to wherever we were going.

''You're not gonna kidnap me right?'' She asked me. I chuckled and looked down at her, ''I won't, trust me.'' I winked at her. She rolled her eyes playfully, ''Are we there yet?'' She whined like a little child, ''We've been walking for an hour!''
''Shut up. It hasn't even been ten minutes.'' I laughed as we stopped at where the playground was. ''We're here, Katherine.'' I smiled.
Kate's face lit up as she gave me a wide smile, ''I love it here!'' She exclaimed as she ran to the swingset. I followed her lead as I sat on the other seat. ''Oh and by the way,'' She said as she looked at me, ''Don't call me Katherine. I hate it.'' She glared.

''My brother and I used to play here in the summer. It's sad that he doesn't even go out of his room now.'' She shrugged, ''That's why I was so excited that we arrived here.'' She looked at me and gave a light smile.
''It's okay.'' I said, lighting up here mood, ''I'll come here with you if you want.'' I added. ''What's your little brother's name?'' I asked her. She swayed back and forth as she answered, ''His name is Niklaus, Klaus for short. He's fifteen years old.''
''Oh, then I'll be your Klaus.'' I chuckled. She rolled her eyes and laughed, ''Don't. I hate him. So don't be Klaus, I can't hate you.'' She said.
'I can't hate you.' What she said stayed in my head throughout the night.

''Thanks for tonight, Scott.'' She smiled at me as we stopped to where her house was. ''I had fun. I'm glad we left that party.'' She added as she laughed. It made me happy that I made her smile today, again.
''So I'll see you on Monday.'' I said. She made a thumbs up with both of her hands and chuckled, ''Obviously.''
