Five days till Christmas, we're probably gonna invite the Dempseys again, along with the Standalls. We've actually done that since.. I don't know?
''Uh mom? Are we gonna invite Zach and Alex's family again this year?'' Asked Klaus. Mom nodded her head as she sat on the end part of the table. ''Yes, honey. Why do you ask?'' She asked.
Klaus sighed, ''We've been doing this for for quite a while. Like it's always the Dempseys and Standalls. Can we also invite the our new neighbors? You know, Seth and his family.'' he smirked at me.
''Oh yes sure why not?'' Mom smiled, ''You can tell Seth that they're invited too. I'll speak to Alex and Zach's parents.'' She added. ''Mr Dempsey could've been with us this year.'' Dad frowned as he took a seat.
Zach and I's dads have been the bestest of friends, dad was very depressed when Mr Dempsey passed away. I felt so sorry for their loss. I could've been there for Zach but it's okay, Hannah was with him.

I sat on nearby bench as I groaned, ''Why do you have to pee everywhere, Kol?!'' I asked my dog as if it were to answer me. Kol ignored me as he continued to pee.
''Who you talking to?'' I heard Zach's voice ask. I looked up and sighed, ''Kol. He pees everywhere.'' I said. He laughed and sat beside me as Kol ran up to him, ''Hey buddy! It's been a while since I last saw you.'' He cooed.
''Here,'' I chuckled as I gave the leash to him, ''It's your turn.'' I added. Zach laughed as he took the leash, ''So, mom called my mo- oh wait,'' He stood up, ''Your mom called my mom, we're coming over again to celebrate this year.''
''Yeah. Standalls too.'' I said, ''And Klaus told mom that we should invite the Reeds too, and my mom agreed.'' I added as we began to walk. ''Oh, that's nice. Why the Reeds?'' Zach looked at me curiously.
''Because Scott's little brother, Seth, is kind of best friends with Klaus since I don't know when.'' I shrugged, ''And they're new to the neighborhood, you know how friendly and kind my mom is to new neighbors.'' I added.
''Yeah.'' Zach laughed as he looked at his phone, ''Oh shit. I gotta go to Alex's. Do you wanna come with me?'' He asked. I nodded, ''Yeah sure.''

''Hey Alex!'' I greeted as Zach and I walked in on him playing. I looked at what he was playing, ''Alex! Why are you playing that?'' I asked and walked over to him. ''Desert Storm.'' He answered and turned off his game.
''Why on earth are you playing that?'' Zach asked. I agreed as I sat beside him. Alex turned around and faced us, ''Can you for once, stop protecting me or whatever?!'' He rolled his eyes and exclaimed.
''Alex why is there a dog outsi- Oh, hey Kate, Zach.'' Mrs Standall greeted. ''Kate! I'm gonna let Kol come in, okay? I'm gonna give him some food.'' She smiled and walked away. ''Ooookay?''
''So I heard you guys are inviting Scott and his family over for Christmas?'' Alex asked, ''Wow. Your family knows now?'' Alex scoffed, ''I told you not to trust baseball players Katie. You don't listen to me anymo-'
''Alex, she didn't have anything to do with this. Okay? Klaus is apparently best friends with Scott's little brother.'' Zach explained, ''Plus, I'm a baseball player. Don't say that.'' He chuckled.
''Oh, sorry.'' Alex looked at me. ''Do you like Scott?'' He asked.

I lay on my bed while staring at the ceiling as I thought about Alex's question.
