''Hey! Kate!'' Chloe called out while running towards me, ''Halloween party at my house, this Saturday night. You have to go! I swear it'll be fun.'' She smiled. ''Scott will be there too.'' She winked and then ran off to Bryce.
''What was that about?'' Alex asked as he and Jessica walked over. I sighed and faced them, ''She said there'll be this halloween party tomorrow night at Chloe's.. Should I go?'' I asked and crossed my arms. I took a peek behind me, looking at Scott and his friends. A smile formed on my face as I saw how he was with his friends.
''Hmm. I don't think you should go.'' Alex said, ''Is the whole school invited?'' He asked me. Jessica sighed and spoke, ''I think so. Chloe invited me a while ago, I don't think my dad will allow me to go. I don't wanna go too.''

I sighed as I lightly kicked the bottom of the vending machine. ''That shit doesn't work sometimes.'' I heard Scott's voice from behind. I looked behind me and chuckled, ''Yeah. You're lucky if it works on you.'' I said.
''Soooo,'' He placed his hands on the pockets of his jacket, ''You going to the party tomorrow at Chloe's?'' He asked. I shrugged and leaned on the vending machine, ''I don't know if I will. I think none of my friends are going.''
He looked down and laughed, ''Well if you're not going, I won't too.'' He said, giving me a wide smile. I rolled my eyes playfully, ''Okay then.''
Scott pouted like a child, ''Please go. I promise you it'll be fun, and I'll be with you the whole time. I promise.'' He said while sounding like a little child. I sighed, ''I'll try.'' I said.
''Yay!'' He cheered, ''So I'll see you tomorrow okay?'' He said just before his friends were calling him. ''I'll try Mr Reed.'' I winked, before heading off to our table.
I sat beside Jess as Alex leaned in and smirked, ''What was that about?'' He asked. ''Did he ask you out?'' He joked. I rolled my eyes, ''No he didn't.'' I said, looking over at Scott's table. He was talking with Zach.
''So are you going to that party tomorrow?'' Jess asked, ''Cuz I don't think I will.'' She added in a sigh. I looked down as I poked my food, ''Maybe I will.''

''Katie bear! Hey! Wait up!'' Zach yelled out, running over to where I was. ''C'mon, I'll bring you home.'' He smiled at me. ''Kaja.'' I said as I hugged his right arm tightly. ''You've gotten fat.'' I laughed, looking up at him. ''Fatty Zachary!'' I teased.
''Shut up.'' He rolled his eyes as we walked over to his car. ''So are you going to Chloe's party tomorrow?'' He asked as I got in the front seat and him in the driver's. ''I'll be going. The whole school will probably be too.'' he added.
''I don't know. Parties used to be my thing, but Scott wants me to go. Should I, Zachy?'' I asked him. ''I mean like, it's also been a while since I've been in a party. Last time was at Bryce's.'' I added, looking over at Zach as I groaned.
''You should go. It'll be fun since it's halloween.'' He chuckled as he stopped the car infront of my house. I sighed, ''I'll try.'' I forced a light smile as I got out of his car, ''I guess I'll see you tomorrow at the party?'' I asked.
''Yeah, I guess you will.'' He said as he drove off.
