Eliza woke and looked around. Riddler was in her room. "Eliza!" He said and clapped his hands together. "How am I here? How am I alive?" She asked him. "Oh! My people followed Jim and you were with him too. So they dragged you both back here and Lee helped save your life." He explained then approached her and gently sat down on the hospital gurney she was on. "So tell me, how did you end up leaving Oswald and teaming up with Jim Gordon?" He asked her. "You gonna tell Penguin?" She asked him. "Depends on the answer." He replied. "Remember what you said when you were at the mansion?" She asked him. "Oohhh. That you need to be let out like a caged animal. So you bit the hand and ran. Found some entertainment with the cop. Well, if there would be anyone to follow to find trouble it would be him. Alright. Your secret's safe with me. But don't think it as a favor between friends. I might use this as leverage later on sometime." He said, then patted her leg and left off the bed. Lee knocked on the door then opened it and looked inside. "I see you're awake. Are you alright?" She asked Eliza. "Yes." She replied. "Good. Come with me. Both of you." She told them, then walked away. Eliza got off the gurney and walked out of the room then followed Lee. Edward behind her. They walked to the main fighting area but the ring was gone. A table was there instead and some chairs. Other chairs were around. "Ed, I have a riddle for you to solve." Lee said and spread a paper out onto the table. Eliza sat down gently in a chair. "Still getting back to your old self?" Lee asked her. "Yeah. I must have been thrown pretty hard. Just...trying to get all that energy and everything, back." She replied. "What's this riddle?" Ed asked. Lee showed him a map that was in Jeremiah's bunker. She explained that Jim found it. Then she told Ed she knows he'll help figure it out. "I will for you." Ed replied. "You will for us." Lee corrected him. She gave him a kiss and said she had things to do and she walked away. Ed watched her leave, as did Eliza. Then he started to try figuring out the riddle. Eliza looked at it. "That is beyond the average human mind." She said. Looking at the large paper and at a notepad he was using, he spoke without a beat. "I'm sure you could help figure it out too." He said. She didn't know whether that was a help me phrase or a compliment. But she'd take it either way. "Is it a map?" She asked. "Might be. We'll find out soon enough." He said. She stood and placed her fingers on the table while looking down at it and tried to view it at every angle. Some lines black, some lines red. What did that mean?
Later, after she sat down again, Jim Gordon walked up. "Jim! Back from the dead." Edward said. Eliza looked at him. "Glad to see you're okay. And still alive." Jim told Eliza. "Are you hitting on her?" Edward asked him. "No." Jim responded, a bit agitated. Eliza paid attention to the map and was trying to figure it out while eavesdropping on the slightly heated discussion between Edward and Jim over Lee. She rolled her eyes and looked to them then raised her eyebrow. The two of them backed off from being only a foot apart and basically growling. "Do you boys mind losing the testosterone and figure this thing out?" She asked them. "Of course." Ed said and continued. Jim looked at the paper. They discussed about the patterns and how the red is covering the black. Edward solved it and showed he stood paper to signify buildings. "Look familiar?" Ed asked Jim. Jim took the paper and went to the large window then held it up. Eliza turned in the chair and watched them. Discussing how he plans to destroy the city to be a maze in chaos. Like his life was. Edward commented it was charming, then began to leave. Saying he and Lee can use it as leverage for a deal with the Mayor. Jim said he noticed something Ed did wrong. Edward doubted his statement but approached him to see, then Jim laid a hard right fist into his temple and Edward collapsed. Eliza stood and looked at Jim with confusion. "You wanna come with me to the GCPD or run back to Oswald? Up to you." Jim said and began to march out. Eliza looked to him then to Ed as he was still lying unconscious on the floor, then followed Jim out of The Narrows.
She still followed him as he was walking on the street. He looked back at her then ahead. "Well don't follow me like a lost puppy. Get up here!" He said. She jogged up and caught up to him. "You walk faster." She said. "Sorry about that." He apologized. They went to the GCPD and inside. Police were working quickly and nonstop. But some froze when they saw him. "Oh! Jim!" Harvey said and hurried down to him. They hugged each other and Harvey looked at Eliza. "Girl Zsasz." He said and gave a nod. "Hey." She said back. "Do I have her to thank for saving your life?" Harvey asked him. "No. We saved each other." Jim said then headed to the stairs. "Well, to be honest I'm kind of starting to like you. Not your boyfriend though." Harvey said and followed Jim. Eliza followed them and paid attention to Jim as he told Harvey and Lucius Fox where the bombs are. "We need to find the source one. The big one." Harvey said. "I'm pretty sure it would be located...here." Jim said and pointed it out. "Great. I'm going alone. You stay here Jim. You've dealt with enough." Harvey said and began to leave. "I'm going with you." Eliza said. Harvey turned to her. "I appreciate it, but haven't you already been blown away once?" He asked her. "You need help finding this thing. I know what it looks like." She said as she headed down the stairs. "Plus, Jeremiah needs to learn a lesson." She said as she walked past him. "And that is?" He asked as he followed her. "Gotham isn't his." She responded. "Hey! Somebody give her a gun! She's watching my back." Harvey said. An officer tossed her a gun and she caught it before walking out. Harvey followed. He drove to the building and they entered. She kept her gun drawn and watched for any traps along the way. "It's seriously impressive. You went from bad girl to good girl." He said. "For some reason it half feels like an insult." She responded. "Well...I guess it should." Harvey said. "I'm gonna call Lucius. He'll help us once we find this thing." Harvey said. "Sure." She responded and kept ahead. Harvey called Lucius then put him on loudspeaker. "You're on loudspeaker Luce. Just so you know." Harvey told him. "That's fine with me. You two find it yet?" He asked. "Uuhh...no." Harvey responded. Eliza rounded a corner then lowered her gun and tucked it in the back of her pants. "What?" Harvey asked and followed her. "That's the bomb." She said. "Holy cow." Harvey quoted.
They approached it and he stood on the opposite side. Lucius told them about a switch on the top of the machine. It should reveal a cord. Cut that and it's safe. Harvey gave Eliza his phone then he reached up and grabbed the switch with both hands then turned it and it opened, rising. She gave him his phone back. "Alright um, which one is it?" Harvey asked. "What?" Lucius asked. "There's two of them." Harvey told him. "They're identical." He added. Lucius sighed. "Jeremiah must have changed it since doing the schematics." Lucius said. "We're on our own with this one Pussycat. We gotta choose." Harvey said. "Either we're right or we're wrong." She told him. "Yeah no kidding." He quoted. They stared at each cord. Trying to decide which one may be the right one. "Eenie, meenie, miny, moe..." Harvey started. "That's not gonna help us!" Eliza yelled at him. Harvey looked to her then at the cord to his right. Her left. "Gotham is ours." She said and grabbed the cord on her left. "Wait!" Harvey said. She looked at him intensely. "In case this blows, I actually have a crush on you. There. Go!" He said. She gave him a 'whatever' look and yanked the wire. He yelped and ducked. She took two steps back with the cable in her hand. There was a moment of silence. "You did it. You saved us all." Lucius said. "Coming back to the station now." Harvey said and hung up. He stepped around the bomb and looked at Eliza who was now bent over then she sat down onto the floor and started to cry. "Oh, honey. Hey! You did it!" He said and hurried to her. He got on his knees and held her. "You're a hero!" He said to her. She began to suck back her tears then she looked to him. He wiped away her tears gently with his thumbs. "You go back to the station. Take the credit for saving the city." She said and began to stand. He stood quickly then helped her to her feet and kept her hand in his. "No. No you have to come with me and get the praise you deserve." He said. She shook her head. "No. I have to go. Harvey. I need to find out where I belong." She said. He sighed softly. "Okay. I understand. But if this path of yours leads you to our side? Jim and I will be there to back you up. Always." He said. "Thanks." She told him. She let go of his hands then gave a small closed mouth smile and walked away.
