And there she is, standing only a couple meters apart from me, her schocked expression reflecting mine. We look at each other for what seems like an eternity. My thoughts are confused and mixed up, so I give up on them and focus on her face.
It has been such a long time.
She has changed a little, matured. Her face is thiner, her cheek bones higher. Her skin is still the same chocolate color. Her nose is like a sweet little button in the middle of her face.
"You're being cheesy", says a voice in my head, but I don't care. I have found my Natasha. Or is it too late ? Has she changed too much ?
Her hair is still the same fuzzy cloud, maybe a little longer. It's pink at the ends, like she had wanted. I smile. She sees it and her eyes soften. Goodness, those eyes. They are like the dark sky twinkling with diamond stars. There's a warm, fuzzy feeling in me, like a rose blossoming, or a kitten purring.
Natasha smiles too, her cheeks are red.
"Daniel.." she wispers.
Then, it hits me. How will this go on ? What is the correct way to react, when you have just found your long lost love standing in an airplane, with about twenty eyes staring at you with curiosity ?
Well, whatever. They can go to hell.
In three swift movements, I'm in front of her, and without hesitation, I wrap my arms around her. She freezes a moment, then relaxes and leans on me, her head on my chest.
Yes, I have found my Natasha.
