Eternal Youth, Eternal Love

Pan, Peter Pan

Hi guys,

First I would like to say a massive thanks for all of the support that I've been getting from everyone. I love reading all of the brilliant comments that you guys leave! What do you think about Pan and his character so far? -S


Then there was silence....

I felt the carpet beneath my bare feet turn to grains of soft warm sand. As the distinct screaming faded to the sound of calm waves, rolling along the shore.

I opened my eyes, in shock and almost sweet surprise. The restricting bedroom walls had expanded to long stretches of turquoise sky as the taste of salty air found its way into my mouth. The shore, stretched on into the distance, disappearing behind  a mass of cream clouds but width wise only reached the length of a large sailing boat that seemed to trail off into fresh soil and tall, full trees. I stared around amazed at the beauty of this place.

"And who do we have here"

I turned around, startled, as I felt warm breath on my neck.

"And who do we have here" he repeated the question eagerly awaiting a valid answer as he ran his fingers through his dashing wavy blonde hair, that ran like a river to the back of his neck, no further. The boy himself, appeared to be around 16, with eyes of emeralds. He stood tall and proud, looming over me, slightly condescendingly.

"Where the hell am I?" I challenged as the boys eyebrows furrowed with a mix of surprise and anger.

"My question first" he ordered.

"My name is Lily ,and yours?"

"Peter Pan, now how did you get on my island?" His teeth gritted anxiously as he tensed impatiently.

"Err I just kind of arrived?" I had no idea myself.

"No one just arrives at Neverland, how did you get here?" He was getting angrier.
"I said, I don't know" His eyes narrowed as he yelled "Josh and Michael, now!"

"Look, just show me how to get home and I'll go!" I pleaded, looking at Pan.

"If we don't know how you got here, then we can't send you back, can we, darling?"he mocked, his lips parted to form a long audacious grin. 

I turned and began to run, as fast I could, just trying to escape into the woods. Turning around every so often to see if I was being followed. No one was there. I stopped, for a minute, walking slowly along the moss veiled trail. Monumental beige trees, blocked out the light, I began  to fumble trying to find somewhere to hold onto.

Suddenly the quiet forest was filled with the sound of branches cracking underfoot . Holding my breath, I shrank down into a ball, hiding by a tree, in hope no one would find me. The crackling noise came closer. I held my breath as a small animal ran out from the tall grass. How could I be scared of a stupid animal!

I stood up again. Wiping the leaves from my dress. As I looked up, my eyes met with a shadow. The silhouette of a person, standing right in front of me. "Where did you go, we were just about to have a chat" Pan howled as I turned around to make a run for it. Both of Pan's boys stood right behind me. Ready to pounce. I felt an overwhelming sense of pain in the back of my head, as I fell to the floor unconscious.
