......The parties just beginning.....

His gaze, stuck tight on me as his cruel smile remained, carved into his skin like wood work. He stood still, deep in thought before turning to the boys.

"Bring her to me" he commanded
Three boys ran over and helped me up, it felt weird, walking after being tied down for so long. "Here's the deal Princess, I ask and you answer. If you don't answer my question, my boys will tie you back up and leave you to starve and eventually die. Got it?" I nodded eagerly as I began to sit up.

"Question 1, who are you?" he came and sat by me.

"Look, I'm really sorry to disappoint you and all, but you see, It's getting late and my Mum will want me home for tea. Now if one of you could please show me how to get off this island, that would be much appreciated."I said sarcastically the boys gasped awaiting Pan's reaction.

He began to laugh, louder and louder until all other noise was drowned out. He moved toward one of the boys and began to whisper to him, my immediate thoughts were to just run. Although my legs were weak, I couldn't resist the temptation of freedom.

"Never mind" I laughed and took my chance. Sprinting through the gormless boys watching me in disbelief before yelling "Boss" and running after me.

I ran through endless forest, beautiful big olive coloured trees and carob soil. The yelling began to fade into the distance as I ran faster until I knew they couldn't find me. I slumped down against a tree. My legs throbbing and my head spinning. Night began to creep over the brilliant blue sky and I made my choice to rest there for the night.

I began to fade into sleep, when I was alerted with the sound of fern crackling underfoot. And the sound of rustling in dry leaves. I rubbed my eyes and looked around, the world was still cloaked under the shadow of darkness.
 
"You didn't think you could escape me that fast did you?" The familiar charcoal silhouette loomed in the darkness, howling in contentment....
