A Whole New World

I opened my eyes reluctantly, feeling the golden sun in the turquoise sky beating down onto my skin. I didn't want to move, lying on a soft patch of beautiful fresh green grass on a tall cliff overlooking the enchanting lake.

"Pretty, isn't it?"

There it was again, the voice that I found so hard to escape.

"What do you even want from me?" Ignoring my question completely, he carried on.

"I used to come here often as a child, and play on the grass. It has so many memories. And I'd like to create a new one with you, you see I've never killed someone here before. What a wonderful death, looking over Neverland in it's finest hour. I mean, It'll be shit for you, obviously, because you've put up such a fight. Really, an impressive effort so for that I'll make it quick and well, I can't guarantee that you won't be in agony but at least it's quick!"

He placed his hand again on my cheek. "Or you can adhere to me and chances are, if you play your cards right, you might live another day! Choose carefully, the wrong answer could literally cost you your life!" He grinned with contentment and sat by me, moving closer and closer until the tip of his lip grazed my ear, "why are you here?" He whispered softly, I felt his warm breath on my skin.

"I don't know!" I yelled, watching his brow crease as he became more and more agitated."I don't know anything, so just stop trying with me because mate, you're getting nowhere!"

"I don't appreciate this shit for anyone, especially you. Remember that I am basically the King of Neverland. One mistake and I'll make you eat dreamshade or I could give you to Hook and watch him and his friends tear you apart piece by piece or worse, I keep you and make you wish you were dead everyday. I'd torture you constantly, just because It's fun!" His voice was loud enough to fill the whole of Neverland.

"Where's the option where I get to forget about this whole experience and go home " I felt his hands on my neck, gripping harder and harder as I gasped, choking for air. "That option doesn't exist. Neverland is your new home, you can never forget that and you will never forget that " He cackled and waved his hand in front of my head as I felt those 5 words spin around my head. Neverland is my new home. Neverland is my new home. Neverland is my new home. Neverland is my home. The words engulfed all of my other thoughts. Neverland is my new home. I felt myself drop to the ground and he stood over me, his grin wider than ever.

Suddenly the whole world looked different. "Hi Beautiful, are you okay?" I nodded. "Where am I?" My head was spinning, I couldn't focus on anything. "You're in Neverland, remember? I took you up here to admire the view with me." He took my hand. "We were just sitting here together and you just fell to the ground. Are you ok?" I was so confused, why was I on a cliff edge with a random boy. "I'm really sorry, but you are?". He smiled gently, his lips stretched out made his cute dimples look even cuter. "I'm Peter." He took my hand and helped me up.

"Don't worry, darling, You're safe here with me now"
