"Five more minutes," I groaned as the light peeks through the dark brown curtains. 

I open my eyes only to realize that I was naked and curled up in white sheets that were not mine. I set myself up to look around a room missing of Kai, I frowned as I threw my legs off the side of the bed. His room was warm making it almost to difficult to get out of his bed because I knew outside was going to be hell. On each side of the bed, there was a coffee colored end table with identical lamps, and the walls had a few posters of several rock bands. The sheets clung to my body as I made my way off the comfy bed, only to hear the door open to reveal Kai holding a bowl. He looked at me raising an eyebrow with a silly grin painted on his lips, he raised the bowl in my direction. 

"I can make a mean bowl of cereal," He chuckles rolling his eyes.

"I hope its Fruity Peebles," I laughed back rolling my eyes at him.

"Of course what else would I get you? I've known you my whole life if I didn't have your favorite cereal remembered I'd be a shitty friend wouldn't I?" He chuckled handing me the bowl of cereal.

I took the cereal eagerly knowing the hunger in my stomach was beginning to surface itself. I took the spoon and quickly shoveled the tasty pieces into my mouth. The taste was overly fruity and the milk was sweet, just the way I liked it. Kai eyed me over with a perverted smile on his face, I quickly moved to cover myself up with the sheets with one hand. Kai, you're such a pervert. I take another few bites of the cereal as I finish it up reluctant to drink the milk out of the bowl I simply hold it out for him to take. He took the bowl out of my hand leaving the room to dispose of the leftovers. I can't believe I did that with Kai but I mean I don't regret it. I pull the sheets that lingered with his scent closer to my face taking it in. I wonder if this changes anything between us?  I closed my eyes pulling the sheets closer towards my naked body only to be interrupted by Kai clearing his voice. 

"Do you need to take a shower or anything before work?" He asked me.

I raised an eyebrow at him, work? Oh shit! 

"Oh my god what time is it?" I asked jumping out of his bed. 

"It's about to be one," He said looking at me with confusion on his face. "Are you late?"

"Am I late? I will be late! I'm supposed to go in in thirty minutes and I'm supposed to be there right now to get dressed out!" I said in a panic. 

I rushed past him trying to find all the places he would've thrown my clothes from last night. Shit, I don't wanna be late Elle is going to kill me! 

"If you're looking for your clothes they're in the bathroom on the counter I managed to find them all for you," Kai said in a honey-like voice. 

I sighed full of relief thanking him as I quickly rushed to the bathroom to put on my clothes. As I began to lift my legs I could feel the squish that Kai left behind inside of me. I touched the now running liquid between my thighs as my face grew hot, I smelled of him now. Thank god I'm on birth control. I mentally shook my head turning to reality as finished up putting on my clothes ignoring the blissful reminder of him.  I left the bathroom to enter his living room to grab my tribal looking shoulder bag and my car keys. Kai looked over the kitchen counter with a chalkboard colored coffee mug in his hand with a smile. 

"Leaving?" He asked taking a sip of whatever hot liquid occupied his mug.

"Mhm, so I shall catch you later," I said as I rushed myself out of the door. 

The winter air pushed past me replacing the comfort of warmth my body just left, I sighed as I hurried down the stairs. I wish my work was closed today, I really don't want to go in. Dear God, if you hear me either let it snow more or melt. I'm tired of hearing Christmas music and wearing five layers of clothes. I made it my car hurrying to put on the heat and defrost the windows before I made attempts to drive up the road. My car was good about heating up its cold cloth seats, but my windshield had a mind of its own. I sighed heavily in defeat as I got out of my car with the ice scraper, realizing I left my gloves inside Kai's. My day's starting off great... I raked it across the windshield peeling off the stubborn frost on only the driver's side. I could feel the cold creep into my abdomen where I was pressed against the hood, and my fingers were tingling from the bitterness. Greaaaaaat. I finished my deeds and slipped myself back into my seat, massaging my hands so the tingling would go away. As soon as it did I carefully maneuvered myself downtown avoiding the snow-covered back roads and carried past the street lights and decorated city.  I parked my car in the designated parking for employees and hurried inside out of the cold only to be stopped by Elle. Her arms were crossed over her chest, and her coffee-colored eyes were locked on me. I let out a nervous laugh as she moved aside to let me inside so I could change out for work.
