SUHO POV
I unlocked my door with the passcode. I heard the click, and I pushed the door open. I walked into my house and threw my brown suitcase onto the couch. Then I immeadietly loosened my tie and let it drop to the ground.I walked to the kitchen while thinking about what I should eat. I forgot to eat dinner at the club. I usually eat there, but I got so backed up on paper work. I didn't get the chance or time to eat.
I opened up my fridge. I looked to see what I had. The last time I looked in the fridge was empty. I had a bunch of vegetables and fruits. There was even kimchi already made in a plastix box. There were two sandwiches on the fridge's door...
"Come out!" I screamed from the kitchen.
There was no response. I sighed, and I slammed the fride shut.
I walked to my living room while saying, "I know you're here! You always stack up my fridge with food when you come, and D.O hasn't come by either! Just give yourself up already! How am I so much mature than you, Mom?"
That's when I heard footsteps behind me. They were coming from upstairs. I felt a whole body jump on my back before I even managed to turn around. I fell on the floor and let out a grunt.
I felt somebody lift off the body from me. I sighed from relief. I stood up with pain in my stomach. I turned around to see all my family standing right there.
My father had my older brother from under his shoulders. My brother must have been the one that jumped on me. My mother was still laughing from seeing me on the ground splattered like that.
I'm going to have to get my revenge later. I was about to scowl at my brother, but my father interrupted before I could do so.
My father looked at me straight in the eyes and said, "We have to talk."
I didn't think much of it. My family usually talked when they came over. It's nothing new. We have never really had a conflict. The only fight I could remember was when my parents told my brother he was going to be in an arranged marriage.
He got over it quickly though. He didn't try to fight it for very long. At least they both knew each other. The arranged marriage was with my brother and the daughter of the Lau family named Whitney.
Our families were close friends, and they were buisness partners. I was even friends with their son.
His fiance was very beautiful anyways. The arranged marriage wasn't that bad. I wonder how she and her brother are doing. I haven't heard about them in a while even though the wedding is close.
Arranged marriages were actually a new thing for us. We were a somewhat powerful buisness , but we never did those type of stuff. My brother was the first case.
I walked over to my couch, and I sat down. My family soon followed behind me. My brother sat beside me. My parents both sat in front of me at the couch on the opposite side.
Okay, this is new. We usually all just sit on the same couch. Then we watch tv or something. The atmosphere feels uncomfortable.
My family spared glances at one another. I was the only one left out. I quickly gave my own confused glances at them.
I decided to break the silence by saying, "What did you want to talk about?"
My father responded with, "It's about the Lau family."
I raised my eyebrow and said, "What about them?"
"There has been a certain complication."
