Kim Yewon is the daughter of one of South Korea's most famous and biggest companies' CEO. Being an only child means, that she has to follow rules, learn how to act in public and especially how to run a company while growing up, as she is going to be the next heir.
This sounds really tough, but for the girl, who is used to it, it's like a stroll in a park. She is smart, a fast learner, her father's pride and joy. But Yewon's parents were always busy, so she ended up spending most of her time with the domestic workers in the villa. She loves them, they are like her family, but it's not the same.
Yewon plays the role of a well-behaved and obedient daughter perfectly. But not once in her life did her father ever praise her for the things she achieved. Unlike her mother, who was the loveliest and most caring person and therefore loved by everyone in the whole mansion.
But it all changed when Yewon's mother died in a car accident. Her father talked even less than before, is cold, never shows any emotions. He prohibits her to go out alone, go out late, meeting new people etc.
And even though it seems like he would care for his girl, he was avoiding her most of the times. The only time he talks to his daughter is, when it's about work. Making her nothing but a mere business partner to him. Even like that she couldn't bear to leave him, as she is afraid of him becoming insane. And even if she would try it, she wouldn't come far, because there were too many people watching her.

"Yewon-ah, are you coming?"
"I'm trying, but as you know it's not easy to sneak out," she whispers into her phone.
"Are you outside, Eunbi?"
"Pretty much...if you leave the front door, then I am going to rush there."
"Ok...I'm coming now. Just a minute."
The girl opens the door of her room, going out confidently.
"Young lady," the workers greet her and she nods in response.
Ok...almost there.
As she is about to leave, she hears how Jaeyong, her bodyguard, calls her.
"Miss Yewon, where are you going?"
Oh crap.
She runs out and Eunbi drives immediately to the front door, letting her get into the car. They both started to laugh after leaving the property.
"Don't let this become a habit, my heart can't handle this," Yewon laughs.
"Oh come on, you will get used to it in no time, if this is the only way to meet up. Without your bodyguards shadowing us."
"I don't know Eunbi-ah...they will find me either way."
"Hmm but while they are looking for you, let's have some fun."
She nods and they decide to go shopping, as her friend needs to buy a present for her boyfriend. Boyfriend...this is just something the girl can dream of. There is no way, they'll let her go near any guy.
The two are about to go into a café, when someone stops them.
"There you are, Miss Yewon."
Shit, they were real quick this time.
"You have to come with me, before your father finds out."
"There is no way, I'm letting this girl go with you!"
"Miss Eunbi, please don't interfere with my job. It's not only me, that gets in trouble but Miss Yewon as well."
She looks worriedly at Yewon, when Jaeyong grabs her arm, trying to drag her into the car.
