Chapter 8

"Yoongi... Yoongi," a sweet voice calls him.

"Yewon? Where are you?" he ask and keeps on wandering around. It seems like he is in some kind of dark forrest.

"Yewon? Who is that? I'm not Yewon..."

"Who are you then? Come out!" he shouts and looks around.

Ah, this might be the exit...

He gets closer to the light, when it suddenly starts to blind him, causing him to close his eyes instantly. The light swallows him.

"You aren't allowed to pass!" Someone holds onto him, stopping him. He wants to turn around, but he can't.

"Who are you?"

"You'll know when you open your eyes..."

"What are you talking about? You are behind me, how could I possibly figure out who you are and the light..."

"Yoongi, just open your eyes. There is no light...see?" He feels how that person's hands cover his eyes. Yoongi opens them carefully and as he is about to turn around, these hands quickly pull him down. He flinches when his body hits the hard ground and darkness overcomes him.

All of a sudden Yoongi's arm moves and a quiet groan escapes his lips.

"Yoongi-hyung?" Yunseok asks, before rushing out, calling a doctor.

"...what..."

"...what happened? Where am I?"

It's so dark...

Yoongi's head hurts a lot. He carefully touches it, feels the big bandaid and closes his eyes again.

So tired...

Suddenly it gets loud. He opens his eyes slowly again.

"Doctor, my son has woken up? How is he?" he could hear his mother cry.

"Ma'am, please calm down. Let me check. I'll call you then. Please stay outside for a short while."

The doctor gets closer to the bed and greets Yoongi.

Am I too tired to open my eyes? Is this all a dream?

"Am I at the hospital right now?" he asks carefully, which confuses the doctor a bit.

"Yes, you are..." he takes a look at the monitor and then checks on Yoongi himself.

"I see..."

"Do you remember what happened?"

"I don't know...I got into a fight with my girlfriend...and she almost fell down the stairs..." Yoongi says bitterly.

"My girlfriend"...what a joke...

"Mr. Min, please don't get startled. I'm just doing a few tests."

"Why should I...?"

The doctor touches his eyelids and he twitches.

"Mr. Min..."

"Doctor, why can't I seem to see anything? What's going on?" Yoongi raises his voice.

"I'm afraid, due to the fall, the bleeding caused you to lose your eyesight."

"Does this mean I'm blind...forever?"
