"Miss, we arrived," Jaeyong says, taking Yewon out of her thoughts.
"Ah...thank you."
She goes into her room and grabs fresh clothes to go take a shower.
------------------------------------------------
She looks at herself in the big mirror in the bathroom.
"I look awful...my eyes are swollen, I'm tired..." Yewon sighs.
"...and this stupid hair..." she glares at it, before putting a small strand onto her lips, kissing it softly. She closes her eyes for a second."Your hair is beautiful," his voice resonates in her head.
"They have to go!"
The girl goes out, asking a maid to cut it for her.
"But Miss, your long hair..."
"I just want something fresh. I want to look more mature..." Yewon lies.
"Are you sure?"
"Yep, just do it," she smiles, reassuring the young woman, that it's okay.
------------------------------------------------
"Wow...this feels...I have to get used to it..."
"You look really cute, Miss Yewon," the maid giggles.
The girl pouts. She wanted to look mature, not cute, but whatever. It's fine.
"Thank you. Would you help me picking out the right outfit?"
"Of course I would," she smiles.
------------------------------------------------
Yewon sits in the car, clenching her hands. She is not ready...not ready to commit to something like a marriage with a stranger. She might learn to love him in the future, but does she even want it? Yewon is scared, that it's an old, disgusting, rich man, whose wife just left and now he wants a young wife to show off. The girl cringes at the thought of her being a trophy wife. If that's the case, then there are two men controlling her.
I don't have to live like this...why am I still going? What a dumb habit... No, it's not a habit. I have my reasons...
The car stops and Jaeyong opens the door for her, as always.
"Phoenix Hotel...right next to the restaurant I went to with..." Yewon says, looking up. Someone approaches her.
"Miss Kim. We were already expecting you. Please follow me."
She nods and enters the big foyer.
Wow...
Yewon gets guided into a special meeting room.
"Could I bring you something to drink, Miss?"
"Uhmm..."
"Water, maybe?"
"Ah yes, please..."
"Of course. Let me excuse myself," the person leaves and the girl looks around. It's spacious, kind of unnecessary spacious for such a meeting. She is alone for now, as she didn't drive together with her father. Yewon goes to the big window of the room and looks out.
It's beautiful...even though the sky looks gray.
She closes her eyes and breathes in, remembering her first kiss with Yoongi under the rain. Sadness overcomes her.
What am I actually doing here? Is it worth it? Is it really worth it to give up my life for someone, who doesn't even love me? But he is my father... Can I keep going on with my plan? How long would it take? I should've talked to Yoongi, explaining it to him...but I choose to run away out of my own selfishness. Would he understand though?
