Destinations// l.r

I checked over once more to see that I'd got everything I needed. After going through my suitcase for the tenth time I decided that I wasn't missing anything. Walking down stairs I sighed, I was going to have to spend my whole summer at a Summer camp.

That's over 3 months with complete strangers all because my mum thought all I did last summer was sit at the computer, she wasn't wrong. But I didn't want to go to a summer camp that was something fifth graders did I would be starting university after the holidays.

"Ready?" Mom said when I was at the bottom of the stairs.

"Yeah." I replied.

Once my suitcases where in the car, we drove to the campus, my mom parked at the front, "See you then." she said.

"You're not coming out?" I asked.

She shook her head, "You're old enough to find your own way now."

"Okay then, bye love you." I jumped out the car collecting my luggage from the back and heading following a sign that said 'SIGN IN TO THE EAST.'

My sense of direction wasn't the best so I ended up walking of in a random direction then wondering whether I had actually gone east. Following the path I took, I went back up to where the sign was, I was about to take off to another path when someone spoke.

"I don't think that's the east." the stranger spoke.

I spun around to face them "I was just going to look at the roses."

He looked over to the place I was heading, where there were no roses. It was then I took in his appearance, my breathing hitched slightly, he had blonde hair with blue eyes, his face sculpted perfectly and a piercing in his lip.

"Need help with those?" he nodded towards the suitcases I held, When he spoke dimples appeared in the sides of his cheeks making him even more attractive.

"Yeah, thanks." I handed him over one of my suitcases.

"We're already late we better go sign in." he said and started walking I followed behind him silently it was only a short walk to where the sign up table was, I cursed at myself, how had I missed it before?

We signed in then was told to go into a hall just next to the table. In the hall people around my age stood talking to each other. Just as we entered, someone told everyone one to be quiet.

"Okay guys now that your all here we can get going!" the man said. "I'm Philip and I'll be your Camp Councillor."

The were a few mumbles of "hello's" and someone even shouted "Hey Phil!"

"If the all the boys would like to come to me and all the girls go the Lucy just in the corner."

Everyone moved in different directions but the blonde boy still stood next to me,"What's your name?" he finally asked.

"Hailey, yours?" I replied.

"I'm Luke and just for the record there were no roses." he dropped my suitcase and walked over to Phillip.

Okay so very short chapter, but they will get longer and more interesting this was just an introduction.
