"So you still don't know who sent those text messages?" Hailey looked at me, flipping through a magazine. We were at her house studying for an English test. "No, but I'm scared. Who would waste their time like that?" I questioned them. "A low life." Kylie snickered. They both began to laugh. "Guys, this isn't funny. What if someone's actually out to kill me?" I told them. They both looked at each other. "Sweetheart, you'll be fine. You need to tell the police though" Kylie informed me.

It was getting late, and I needed to get home before my mom started freaking out. I walked towards the park. It was the quickest way to get home.

As I was walking, I saw a few guys at the corner of my eye. They started to whistle at me. "Hey baby, lets have some fun." one of them said. I continued to walk, not making eye contact with neither of them.   "Hey, I said we're gonna have some fun!" The man grabbed my arm, pulling me. He pulled me towards the bushes. "Ow, let me go!" I cried out. "Someone, please help!" I screamed.

I looked over to my right to see a group of guys running towards us. "Let her go Josh! Or I'll kill you!" A familiar voice yelled out.  I looked over to my right to see Justin. What was he doing here? "Why, is she your girl?" The man holding me snickered. "Yes, she is!" Justin yelled out. The man let go of me, pushing me into Justin. "Whatever, Jason." The man walked away with his friends.

"Jason? Why did he just call you Jason? And why did you tell him I was your girl?" I questioned him. The boys behind him looked away. "It's complicated." He explained. "How? I thought your name was Justin McCa—" I cut myself off.

"Jason McCann?" I whispered. I felt his body tense up.

**FLASHBACK**

"Mom, can you turn that down a bit, I'm trying to study." I pleaded. "Honey, come here." My mom motioned for me to sit beside her. I looked at the screen. The news channel was on. "What happened?" I asked her. "Listen." She said, turning the volume up. "Don't go out alone, And don't talk to strangers. We still haven't identified Jason McCann's appearance, but you all must be careful.  Him and his gang have been in the area." The news reporter explained.

**End of Flashback**

I remembered now. I felt sick, like I was going to pass out. "Thanks for helping me." I faked a smile. I started to quickly walk away. "Hold up." Jason demanded.  I kept walking though. "Grab her." I began running towards my street, running as fast as I can. It was too late though. I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist, pulling me to a black van. "Stop! Please! Let me go!" I screamed as loud as I can.  Nobody heard me. Nobody bothered to help. I felt a pair of hands cover my mouth. Tears began to fall down my cheeks. After that, everything turned black.
