Nico's POV

Hey. I wrote this on my arm, waiting hopefully for a response before heading off to work. I walked out the door of my apartment building and into the crisp fall air. I felt a little pinch on my arm and looked down. Miss me already, huh. You wish. I wrote back with the sharpie I always carried in my pocket. I walked in to the coffee shop where I worked.

"Hey," I called out to Reyna. "Hey loser. You're late. Were you talking to your soul~mate~ again?" She sang the last word. "Hey shut it!" I called as I slipped on my apron. "Ooh, I don't think so. Little Nico's in loove."

"Hey, here's an idea, and this maybe a little crazy, but why don't who focus on your work and leave my love life out of it." "Ah, don't take away my fun," Reyna whined, but she quit. I start taking orders and making coffee until I feel another small pinch on my arm. I need to see you. plz!

This spooked me. I wasn't sure if I wanted to meet my soulmate. I know we both live in America. I live in New York. I also live in New York, but New York is huge.

I know, how about we meet at The Golden Ghost. Fine.
I felt really nervous. Seeing my soulmate scared me. I was scared that they wouldn't like me.          Actually, I was almost sure they wouldn't like me. I was me, and from the way this person sounded, well I'm sure they are gorgeous.

Hey. Don't worry. Concentrate on your breathing. You will be fine. See you tomorrow.

Time skip 'cause I Can

Soon my shift was over. I headed over to the Golden Ghost with Reyna cause truth be told it was my friends and my favorite place. "Hey guys," I called to my friends on the couch. Reyna and I sat down and joined Jason, Thalia, Percy Annabeth, Piper, Hazel(my sister), Frank(her boyfriend), Leo, and Cal.

Jason and Thalia were siblings and Thalia was dating Reyna. Percy and Annabeth were together, as were Jason and Piper, and Leo and Cal. Cal's real name was Calypso, but no one called her that. A chorus of "Heys" greeted our arrival.

"What's up with you guys?" "Nothing," Jason replied, but a sorta smile covered his face. "What is it?" I sighed. I looked around and noticed that Reyna looked really guilty. "I may have possibly told everyone that you were meeting your soulmate tomorrow and they are kind of really excited." Her voice sounded apologetic, but I could tell she wasn't really sorry.

"Great," I murmured under my breath, my face turning red, "but can we please not talk about it? I'm nervous enough as it is."Fine," Hazel snickered and I new the subject would come up later in the conversation.

 About an hour later Percy and Annabeth stood up to leave and walked out holding hands. Soon people stared trickling out on account of needing to get up early for work. Piper, Jason, Hazel, and I were the last ones.

Hazel stood up to leave, but before she did so, she leaned over to Jason and Piper and whispered something in their ears. Piper and Jason nodded and started giggling a little bit. Hazel walked over to me. "Good luck Nico!" She sang at me and I blushed quite visibly.

Jason and Piper always were the last ones to leave, and I wasn't quite sure why, but I knew I should probably leave before the teasing began. "Look, I got to work early tomorrow, so I should just go," I started but before I was even halfway out of my seat, Piper said "Sit down," and she sounded so intent, I sat down.
