Ariana's POV

The next morning, I was making coffee when a sleepy Louis entered the kitchen. He spotted me and froze in his tracks.

“Hello,” I greeted coldly.

He sighed tiredly. “Look Ariana; I’m sorry.”

“And?” I prompted.

“I shouldn’t be mad at you just because you don’t return my feelings. I’m sorry,” he added.

“Alright, you’re forgiven,” I said before pulling him into a tight hug.

His arms wrapped lovingly around my waist briefly before he released me and went to get a mug for coffee. We had just sat down with our mugs at the table when Liam, Holly, and Jack entered the kitchen.

“Ooh! Coffee!” exclaimed Jack. He grabbed his own mug before joining us at the table.

“So, uh, guys; Liam and I have something we want to tell you,” said Holly nervously.

“What’s up?” I asked casually.

Holly sighed. “I’m pregnant.”

“What?!” I yelled.

Unlike me, Louis had been taking a sip of coffee and inhaled it instead.

“Heh,” he squeaked, starting to panic when he couldn’t clear his throat.

I jumped up and slammed my hand on his back forcefully, making him spit the coffee all over the table.

“Are you okay?” I asked while looking him in his watery eyes.

“Better,” he choked out. “Thanks.”

I turned back to Liam and Holly. “How did this happen?”

Well, you see,” Liam started. “When a man loves a woman-”

“No!” I interjected. “I meant, weren’t you two careful?”

“Of course we were!” said Holly.

“Someone didn’t use protection,” Jack sang into his coffee.

Holly smacked him on the back of the head before grabbing her own mug of coffee.

“You know,” I warned. “You can’t drink coffee when you’re pregnant.”

“Damn it,” Holly muttered before setting the mug down.

“Do you have a doctor’s appointment scheduled?” asked Louis as he finally got his breath back.

“Yeah, we’re going today. Actually, we should probably head out right now,” said Liam.

Liam and Holly said quick goodbyes before heading out the front door. Jack left shortly afterwards, leaving Louis and I alone in the kitchen once again.

“Are you alright?” I asked, referring back to the coffee incident.

“I’m fine; my life just flashed before my eyes. No big deal,” he joked.

“Well I was the hero that saved you,” I bragged.

“That’s true! I owe you one,” he said.

For just a split second, I considered telling him about Harry, but then I realized something.

Louis was never going to understand. He’s hated vampires his whole life and he’ll think I’m making a huge mistake; which I probably am.

Although, I can’t stay away from Harry now.

I need him.

“Are you alright?” he asked back.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” I lied. “Just thinking through some things.”

“So, when do I get to meet your boyfriend?” he asked.

This time, it was me who choked on the coffee.

“What?!” I coughed.

“One, you’ve been out late every night. Two, you snuck out after our fight last night. And three, you stopped having sex with me,” he smirked.

“Wow, someone’s full of themself,” I said stiffly.

“You know what I mean; what’s his name?” he asked.

“I don’t have a boyfriend Louis!” I said angrily before retreating to my room and locking the door.

My hands pulled my hair slightly in frustration.

“I need you right now, Harry,” I muttered.

A familiar husky voice came from behind me.

“I’m already here.”
