"He was nice, and cute. Very cute." I say laughing and hearing my phone ding.

I go up to my room, climbing the stairs up while taking my phone out. I lay down on my stomach and look at the screen, hoping it's a message from the people back in California. It isn't. They haven't even tried to contact me since I left. I feel so hurt. They were my "friends". I guess they didn't really like me. Although, truth is that I didn't try to message them either, just to see if they really cared. Turns out, they didn't. Ugh.

Instead, it's a text from an unknown number. It must be Suga, since I see there's a message from me before and I haven't actually texted. Maybe he wrote himself a message so that I had his number.

"Hey, Nari, right?" the message says.

"Hey, Suga, right?" I reply.

"Ahahah, yeah."

After me having dinner, I go again upstairs and turn my TV on, while still talking to Suga.

*Girl, I can't explain what I feel.

*CALL FROM basket boy*

The hell does this boy want?

"Wonhaneunge mwoya?"

"Wow, calm down... rude..." He says, whispering the last part. "Just wanted to talk to you, is that to much to ask for? He says letting out a little laugh, and I do too. His laugh is contagious. "Well, I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out with me and some friends. That way you can have friends when we start classes. Even though I won't be there, hehe."

"Why won't you?" I ask, then realizing that he's two years older than me, and mentally face-palming myself. "Wait, nevermind. Yeah, let's hang out tomorrow. Where and when?"

"The basket courts near your house. Six. Sharp." He says, his voice hardening again.

I reply with a quick "k." before hanging up.

Nari goes to sleep happy and excited to finally meet new friends. She would have never thought she'd meet not only one, but three nice boys already, and some more to come. Nari snuggles in the bed covers and starts thinking about Suga and how nice he had been to her, and how cute they'd be as a couple.
"I don't know why, but every time I meet a boy I start fantasising." She laughs to herself.
After fantasising about him, she drifts off to sleep.

It's five to six and Nari's already at the basket courts. Suga told her six so she don't think they'll be there now. She decides to just wait. 10minutes pass and Suga and his boys still haven't appeared."Well, they probably had some kind of problem fixing their hair, haha." She thinks to herself "I'll just wait for a bit more." Another 20 minutes slipped by, and they hadn't shown up. Nari was fed up, furious and a bit sad, too. She decided to text Suga.
"Yah, where are you?" {6:32pm}

Oh, so that's the game you're playing, boy? Well, two can play.
Nari went back home on the verge of tears.

Nari wakes up to her pillow and cheeks wet, yet she doesn't remember why they're like that

[Nari's P.O.V.]

"Well, it's five, I better start getting ready." I walk into my bathroom and start running the water so that when I get my stuff, it's already warm.

After showering and air drying my hair, I start trying to pick an outfit. Key word being trying. After twenty minutes of trying on and taking off clothes, I finally decide on a plain white shirt, some denim shorts and a pair of black basket shoes. I don't know, man. Whatever.

As I see that ten to six is coming up, I leave the house. By five to six I'm already there, sitting on a table, my feet on the seat and my head resting on the palm of my hand.

"Suga said they'd be here by six, so they'll probably take a bit a longer."

The next time I take a glance at my phone's watch, 10 long boring minutes have passed.

"They're late, they probably had problems fixing their hair." I say to myself, chuckling. I decide to wait for a bit more, they can't take much longer.

Okay, what the fuck is wrong with these people? Where the hell are they? Why would they stand me up? I'm gonna text Suga.

"Yah, Suga, I've been waiting for you, I'm going home." {6:32pm}

Oh, so that's how it's gonna be, huh? Suga, honey, two can play this game.

I return home walking with tears in my eyes threatening to come out and run freely down my cheeks, when I bump into someone. Not looking at the person's face, I apologize and keep walking. The guy, I think (?) grabs my wrist and turns me around, I still not looking into his eyes.

"Nari?" A somewhat familiar voice calls out my name, making me look up.

"Bae-Baekhyun... What are you doing here?" I ask confused, knowing he lives on the other side of the city.

"I-it may sound weird and creepy, but I came to see you... But that's not important. What happened to you? Why are you crying?" He asks, real concern in his face.

"I was supposed to meet someone, but... But they never showed up. It's stupid to cry over this, I know, I'm sorry. Since you came all the way here, do you wanna stay for dinner?" I invite him while guiding him to my home.

"Hey, jagi, how were Suga and the bo-" Eomma stops dead in her tracks. "Baekhyun, honey! What a nice surprise! How come you're over this side of town?"

He tells him the whole story, while I do my best to ignore the personal sound I put in my phone for Suga's messages.

So now he wants to talk to me. Nuh huh, honey.
