I had a sign put up saying that trespassers will be shot. Those that make it to the door will be shot twice. Let's see how many get past this sign. It may be legal to put up the sign, but I can't legally shoot anyone. I had another put up about a hundred feet from the road. I'm just tired of all of these guys that my parents are sending to my house.

Mason has already ran off at least a dozen since we started dating again. My birthday is coming up in two weeks and I can't wait! When I was done with the signs I went inside to shower. It's a Thursday night and nothing is wrong. When I was done I stepped out and dressed in a pair of regular unstained jeans and a tee shirt. Then went outside with some tea. The garage has been struggling since July and the guy that owns it can barely pay any of the workers.

I'm going to talk to Mason when he gets here. We may not be engaged yet, but we're acting like a married couple. I heard the garage door shut and whistled out. A few seconds later a kiss was placed on my cheek. "How was work?" He asked. "It was fine. Busy as usual." I said. "Anything on your mind?" He asked. "Was thinking about how my boss is having trouble running the garage." I said.

"Thinking bout buying the place?" He asked. "Why not? You and I both could work there, regulate the hours, cut people that aren't working, it'll help it and get those that work for it the right pay." I said. "If you want to, I'll help out. I'll support you in this sunshine." He said. "So you'd make me some barbecue tomorrow night if he agrees to sell it to me?" I asked.

"You know I'll do it even if you don't get it." He said before kissing me. "Go shower. Then I'll let ya kiss me more." I said. He kissed me again before getting out of the greasy clothes and boots before going inside in his underwear. Then popped his head back out. "Mind if I answered the door in my underwear?" He asked. "As long as it's one of those trespassers then yes. If it's the sheriff, no." I said not looking away.

"Yes ma'am." He said before closing the door. A few minutes later I went inside and started supper. I pushed a button on a remote to open up the windows to let the breeze in, yet keep the bugs out. The ac kicked off as I continued to cook. I got the chicken ready to go to the grill. Mason came in, got the meat before going out to stick it on the grill. Love the copper mats that I got two weeks after Mason coming back.

I finished the sides as the meat was done. He came in with it and started cutting it up. We switched sides, him getting sides while I put meat on my plate. "Is the ac off?" He asked. "Yeah. I decided to open the house up." I said. "How without bugs?" He asked. "The screens. Nothing but dust can get through those." I said.

He shrugged before we both sat down in the living room. I put my feet up on his thigh while turning the tv on to a Thursday night football game. I lifted my feet up every time the team he was going for scored or he was telling the linebacker or any of the other players what could be done. Football and baseball season are the only two where the both of us can get along while watching sports.

I finished before him and washed my plate. For two people we don't dirty up anything really. I went back to sit down and check my social media and any texts I've gotten in the past thirty minutes. Then the weather for the next week. When I was done I said I was going to bed. "Night sunshine." Mason said as I moved behind the couch. I kissed his stubbled cheek before he turned his head for me to actually kiss him.

I got into my bed and curled up under the covers. A few minutes later the bed moved. Two arms wrapped around me pulling me to a hard chest. I put my head up on his collarbone. We usually don't do anything more intimate than cuddling at night. Only when we feel like it do we go farther than this.

He kissed my temple and cheek before nuzzling his head into my neck. I put both of my hands on top of his.
