Harry's POV

We walked through the doors of the old castle while the older woman was leading us to where everybody else was. As we where walking a short distance I looked around everywhere and saw real moving pictures, it was crazy I had never seen something like that before. 'Then again anything is possible in this world' I thought to myself as we all came to an abrupt stop.
"Now,my name is professor McGonagl I am the head of house for griffindore and also your transfiguration teacher. Now there are four houses while you are here at hogwarts, huflepuff, ravenclaw, griffndore and Slytherin. You will be sorted into ether one and throughout the year you will earn house points for you house and the house with the most points at the end of the year, wins the house cup. Good luck to you all before I open these doors." Professor McGonagl said with a smile at the end. She seems pretty nice, 'oh god I'm nervous now' I though to myself as she opened the doors and began to walk in the hall. Draco looked over at me and saw my anxiety levels rise to the max, so he grabbed my hand and game it a big squeeze and smiled at me, reassuring me that he was by my side all the way and everything was going to be fine. At that moment I knew it was okay, Draco's actions made me feel more at ease. We all began to walk down the hall in a small but large pack with me and Draco at the end. I could see everyone staring at me and whispering my name, it felt so odd and unnatural as no one has ever payed me the slightest bit of attention before. I instantly knew I didn't like it at all, all the attention that I ever needed was from Draco.
My year all began to form a sort of semi circle enclosing the stool that had the old hat sting on it. I then saw the old man himself, walking up to the podium like the champion he was making himself to look like and he started talking about this year and at that point it took all my will to not scream out at him. How can he pretend as if everything is alright and he's the same old saint. I then heard around of claps coming from everyone but me an Draco. I saw the old mans eyes linger on me for a while before he made the move to get of the podium and sit back down in his 'throne'.
"I'll call you all up one by one, you'll come up and sit on this stool, I will place the hat on your head and you will be sorted into you're houses." Professor McGongle said as she held out a long scroll of parchment.
"Mackintosh, Avery" the older woman said as she read off of the scroll, one of the girls walked up to the stool and sat down as the older woman lifted the hat onto the girls head. After a few moments of the girl looking a bit unsettled the hat finally screamed
"GRIFFINDORE" and the girl smiled and walked off to join her new house members. This procedure when on for a while as everyone was getting called out, it then came to Draco's turn
"Malfoy, Draco" the older woman said, I gave Draco a secret smile that only me and him shared before he went up to the seat and got the hat placed on his head, the hat had not even touched his head as it screamed.
"SLYTHERIN" Draco looked pleased and joined his rightful place at the Slytherin table. A few more people got called out and it was only me left.
"Potter, Harry" the older woman called as I walked up and sat on the stool and the hat got placed on my head, it felt like I was there for ages. The hat was talking to me for a while deciding where I belonged, before it eventually shouted
"SLYTHERIN" I was very happy and I heard the Slytherin table applaud madly as I walked over to sit beside Draco. I looked to the staff table as I saw the headmaster looking not as happy before he shook it off and stood up to go over to his podium.
"Now all of you have be sorted, let us eat and go to sleep and I will see you all bright and early in the morning, enjoy" the old man said as he then took a set back down at the teachers table and clapped his hands. Before I knew it i looked down at the table and saw it was covered in loads of food, it was something I had never seen in my life before.
"Har, I'm so happy we are in the same house" I heard Draco say to me as I turned my attention to him.
"I'm so happy too dray, it's going to be so grate" I said back to him and we both instantly connected out hands together under the table and we held it there for the rest of the night while we ate and talked.
After awhile our house prefects lead us to our living chamber in the dungeons, and we where all stood waiting for our head of house to show up and gave us a talk. We all where silent waiting as no one wanted to disturbed the silence, in the matter of a few moments the entrance door swung open and a tall slender man with long black hair strode through the entrance way and over to us all. He looked pretty intimidating to me.
"Welcome to Slytherin, In this house you are to treat each other with respect and stick together as the other houses aren't so supportive of us. If you break the rules make sure you don't get caught doing so, that is all. Off to bead now" the man said sternly as he then exited the entrance.
"Before everyone goes to bed there are a few things we need to tell you about. The password to enter our dorms will change every week and a new one will be written on the notice board by the door on Monday's. All year ones, are to be down here by 7:30 tomorrow morning for a settling in talk" the older sixth year boy said to us all and nodded to us in a dismiss, telling us we can now go to bed. Everyone walked up the steps to the dorms, the girls heading to the left and the boys to the right. Me and Draco wandered through the door that had both our names written on it as well as two other names that read  blase and Hadrian. 'At least we don't have too many people that we have to share a room with' I though to myself as I was thinking about how me and Draco like to share a bed and it might seem quite weird to other people. But also because it's nice having more space and room to breath. Me and Draco walked in and my jaw dropped, the room looked so cool, it was all decorated in a dark wood and green fabric as well as some hints of silver here and there. I saw some windows scattered around the walls and saw that there was a fish swimming past. 'What' I though to myself I though I was going mental, I decided to ask Draco it he saw it too.
"Dray, I don't know if it's my eyes or not but I just saw a fish go past our window" I said to him confused.
"Har we are in the dungeons,we basically are surrounded in water right now, don't worry it's not your eyes haha" Draco said back to me casually while laughing at the end. I joined him Laughing too.
"Hey Dray, the others aren't here yet you know what that means?" I asked Draco as I stepped more into the room. Draco looked a bit scared to answer so he just shook his head.
"We get dibs on the beds" I said smiling to him "what one do you want Dray" I asked him, I looked into his eyes and saw that he looked almost nervous, ever since I mentioned the beds. Draco walked over to me and it looked like he was going to say something but hesitated. I was about to remind him about the talk we had on the train coming here and how he could tell me anything. But he spoke up to me.
"Har, I completely understand why you would say no but, can we still continue to share the same bed at night. You make me feel safe and I don't want that to stop" he said and relief washed over me as I didn't want to be the one to ask him the same question, fearing rejection from him, but now all is good.
"Of course Dray, that will never change. How about we take the bed at the end closest to the wall, and you can 'clame' the one next to mine, so it will be easier to sneak into mine without the others noticing" I said back to him smiling brightly. We both went over to our beds and sat down facing each other and all of a sudden our trunks appeared at the end of our beds. I was going to say something to Draco but suddenly someone came through the door and me and Draco stood up as saw two other boys, 'it must be blase and Hadrian' I thought to myself.
"Hey, guys" the two boys said at the same time smiling at us.
"Hi" me and Draco said back to them weirdly at the same time too.
"I'm harry and this is Draco, what are your names?" I asked back getting to know them as we would be spending a lot of time together in this room.
"I'm blase and his is Hadrian" the tall tan boy said back, we all talked for a while about where we where from and just about random stuff.
It was now a while later and all of us had gotten changed into our pajamas and I got into my bed and Draco go into 'his' pretend one. Hadrian was in the next bed over and beside him was blase, we all said good night to each other and Draco closed his bed curtain that was facing the other two boys so they could not see Draco sneaking into by bed. I heard the other boys closing their curtains too so Draco quickly crept over to me and slipped into my bed. I instantly wrapped my arms around him as he cuddled into the crook of my keck and both our legs where intwined. In seconds both me and Draco fell asleep happily in each other's arms.
