The Hogwarts express

Harry POV
I woke up at 6am to the sound of Draco calling my name to get me to wake up, I open my eyes and saw Draco's beautiful grey eyes staring into mine. I instantly smiled and I had the sudden urge to hug Draco, so I did. I felt Draco's arms wrap around me in return, after a few moments I let go and we faced each other. Draco looked a bit confused but he wasn't complaining about it.
"What was that for" Draco asked me as he seemed a bit flustered. I smiled and we both stood up to get dressed into out clothes.
"I'm just so happy that we found each other, thank you for all that you and your family have done for me. Honestly I'm the happiest I've ever been so thank you for that. You've all been so kind to me and have showed me what it fells like to feel happy and loved" I said to Draco pouring my heart out, I really am grateful for the Malfoys. They have treated me like a actual person unlike the Dursley's and have shown me that I'm not completely worthless, even know it's only been less than a week with them. I am  truly grateful for that.
I looked up to Draco and he was looking at me with glossy eyes as what I told him must have effected him a bit, I felt a bit bad for almost making Draco cry so I went over to him which was only a few steps away and I gave him a hug to make him feel better.
"Oh har I'm so happy you are here too, I just can't wait to spend all my time with you" Draco said into my ear as he hugged. I just held a tighter grip onto him and we let go after a few minutes. We then got our clothes and changed into them before going to brush our teeth and heading to the dining room for breakfast.
After breakfast it was almost 7 am so me and Draco went up to our room to pack our trunks for school, the whole time we where talking and fantasizing about what would happen at Hogwarts. At around about 8am we where all finished packing so we only had about 30 minutes left before we went to kings cross station. So me and Draco brought our trunks down the stairs and we joined Lucius and narcira in the drawn room to spend some time with them before we had to leave for hogwarts.
We arrived at platform 9 and three quarters with Draco's parents as short while after, it was now 3 minutes until we needed to board the train.
"Draco, harry dear just wanted to say have a lovely time there and please the both of yous write to us often to tells us what's happening. And most importantly enjoy yourselves and work hard" narcira said to us as she brought us both in for a group hug. We let go for the hug and smiled up to her.
"Now boys, Draco your mother has pretty much summed it up but do enjoy yourselves and if there is anything that worries you both or something you don't feel that is right going on at that school, please write to me and inform me immediately" Lucius said but I noticed that when he said "or something you don't feel is right" it was more aimed at me, mental note to myself 'I must keep an eye out'.
Me and Draco got onto the train after Draco's father bent down and gave us both a quick hug. We found a empty compartment near the middle back of the train, we stood near the window of the train overlooking the crowd of parents and carers and saw Draco's parents waving at us as the train started to move along the track and out of the station. We both waved back until we could not see them anymore, so we sat down side by side on one of the rows of seating. I though it was rather nice being on a train, never been on one before. It was also nice weather so you could see the landscape almost crystal clear all the hills, rivers and mountains.
It was now a good half of a hour into the journey and me and Draco just sat in a comfortable silence as the world change by, our our window.
"Dray" I said breaking silence
"You look a bit sad, what's wrong" I asked him as I was concerned for what was making my Draco sad. He looked up to me and shrugged, I just gave him and smile and didn't say anything as I did many want to push him into saying it, he could tell me when he was ready. A few minutes passed and I heard Draco begin to talk.
"Well I don't really want to tell you because this is going to sound silly" his soft angelic voice said to me.
"dray  you can tell me anything you know, I'm not going to judge you or laugh at you for it" I said back to him trying to make him feel better. He looked at me and it looked like he was contemplated telling me or not, so I put my arm around him and he instantly came closer to my side and he put his head in the crook of my neck.
"Okay har, well I'm just little bit sad to be leaving home and my parents for along time, I guess I have never really been away from my parents longer than a few days" Draco confessed to me as he played with his hands nervously.
"I get what you mean dray but In a few days you be okay trust me, you will get to write to your parents soon. Just think to yourself that your going on a long holiday with your friend and will be back home in a short while , you see that didn't sounds silly you know you can always tell me anything. I'll always be there for you no matter what" I said back trying my best to comfort him, it was a bit hard as I had never felt anything like that before. Draco looked up to me and smiled
"Thanks har, I know, the same goes to you to, you can always tell me anything thing to" Draco's said back to me.
My words seemed to make him feel a bit better as he didn't look so down anymore and we where talking a lot about everting and anything while we awaited to see the Famous Hogwarts castle. We killed time by playing some card games muggle versions that I showed him about as I had seen my 'uncle' play a thousand times before. I was in the middle of teaching Draco about old maids and suddenly he looked out the window with a big grin smacked across his face.
"Har we are here look it's hogwarts" Draco almost shouted to me as he was so exited, I snapped my head around and saw great old big stone walls in the Distance, yes we are here, it looked absolutely magnificent and looked exactly what I was expecting. I could not wait. Then I  remembered that we needed to get our robs on and the train was almost at the station, 'oh no' I thought to myself.
"Dray quick we need to get our robs on, we are almost there" I said back as I started to frantically pull out my rob as he did the same. We quickly got changed and then sat back down on one of he seats together while we looked out the window to watch as we came to a stop at the station.  I heard everyone's compartment doors slide open as they all went out to join the crowd of people that waited outside the train, me and Draco got off the train once we heard the majority of people get off as we didn't want to get squashed and I secretly didn't want people to be looked at me as I was now the famous 'boy who lived'.
"First years over here" a booming deep voice said over the top of everyone, me and Draco scurried along to the giant and joined the back of the que of first years that where lead into a trail near the lake while everyone else went on another trail that looked like it headed deep into the forest.
We all walked for a little bit and then finally we came to a stop a the start of the lake where, several boats where siting waiting for us all to get onto.
"Four to a boat" the giant said as he got onto his own boat at the head of the pack. Everyone started to run to there friends and people they knew and all gathered in fours, me and Draco sat in the last boat together with another boy who was carrying a toad. Me and Draco sat very close together as if we where merging into one person, while the other boy sat at the front of the boat and kept a firm grip onto his toad. The boat journey was beautiful and we got to see Hogwarts close up for the first time, it didn't feel like this was happening, I could have just pinched my arm and woken up as it felt as if the whole thing was a dream.  Soon enough we all came to a Stop as we had reached our destination and we got off he boats and onto the stone ground. We walked for a while as we made our way to the main entrance of the castle.
"Now I'm going to leave you all, but you will have profferer McGonagal take over for me. I wish you all good luck and I'll see you all in there shortly" the friendly giant said to us as he opened the castle doors and said hello to the older woman and went on his way.
"I would like to Welcome you all to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, now if you would all like to follow me as we embark on our journey to the great hall for the sorting ceremony" the woman spoke with a professional tone as we all followed in side.
