You were glued to the rug, unable to move. You were too confused to know what to do. Why would he react so strongly to something so small? Is he really that worried about your grades? You didn't think it would be a big deal. Did your words anger him more?
Your head was too clouded with these bitter thoughts to finish any homework. Shoving a grape in your mouth, you lean back on the leather couch behind you and sigh heavily.
This wasn't your fault, right? At least you were actually doing your homework. It's not like you had all those assignments to do and invited Namjoon over to play video games with you. He offered to help you finish your homework. He is the one who suddenly threw a fit because you had a full agenda. He's the one who stormed out, leaving you to deal with the incomplete essay and unread textbooks on your own. If anyone is at fault, it's Namjoon.

You slip on your slick black shoes and grab your book bag as you make your way out the door. As you begin your usual path to school, you make eye contact with the round faced boy across the street who ditched you last night. In the same moment your eyes met, Namjoon snapped his head away, staring at the gray cement below him and quickening his pace.
Ignoring his pitiful attempt at avoiding you, you continue your path to school.
However, every few seconds, you can see out of the corner of your eye a slanted pair of chestnut eyes staring you down before immediately turning away. Does he have to make it this awkward?
When you make it to your first class, your big brother isn't in his normal desk next to yours; he fled to the opposite corner of the classroom. You looked back at him as you sat down and gave him a confused look. When your eyes met, you motion for him to sit back at his regular spot. He sat there for a minute, staring at you like a nervous cat. He hesitantly stood up, slowly made his way towards you and reluctantly sat down.
"What's wrong?" you asked, noticing his stiff form. "Is this about last night? I'm sorry to make you worry like that, Joonie."
"Let's just forget about that, okay?" He mumbled, setting his black book bag down.
"Okay. Then why are you acting so weird?" You asked, still uncertain as to why he is so timid.
"It's nothing!" He nearly yelled, resulting in dozens of eyes darting his way.
He cleared his throat and straightened his jacket.
"It's nothing, Y/N. I'm sorry for everything." He stared at the empty desk in front of him. "Can we just forget it, please?"
"Sure." You said softly. "I'll forget about it."
