「7」Coffee Shop」

Everything has been so off. You find yourself waking up in cold sweats multiple times every night. Whenever you walk home from school, you have the urge to run over to Namjoon. You can't focus in class anymore, mind always drifting away. You and Namjoon have texted a few times, but only to check in. Neither of you have brought up the incident, or even come face-to-face.

You have to shake this off. Just think about Taehyung today. He's bringing you on a much needed date this morning. You slip on your Vans, grab your phone and make your way to the coffee shop.

Upon arrival, you're greeted by a waving Taehyung equipped with a box smile. You walk up to him a give him a hug and peck on the lips before walking in with him.

The cafe was small and sweet, but quite busy. Many tables were already occupied by couples and people typing away on laptops. Taehyung lead you to an open table in the back corner of the cafe.

"Take a seat, Y/N." He ordered with a sweet smile as he pulled out the chair in the back of the table.

"Thank you, Tae Tae." You giggled and sat down.

"I'll be right back." He said and started to walk away.

After a few minutes he came back with two caramel macchiatos and a large blueberry muffin.

"Taehyung, I can't let you pay for me." You protested, fumbling with your wallet.

"Don't worry about it." He said smoothly, signaling away your money.

You sighed, putting away your cash in defeat. "Thank yo-" you immediately ducked your head and hid your face.

"What are you doing?" Taehyung asked in confusion, tapping your lowered head with a pointed finger.

"That's Dahyun!" You whisper-yelled.

"Who?" He titled his head.

"Namjoon's girlfriend!"

"So?" He whipped his head around and observed the girl walking in. Noticing the tall male figure beside her, he slightly gasped.

That's not Namjoon.

Taehyung faced you again. "I get it. You don't need to hide yourself, though." He crosses his arms and stared at you.

You slowly straightened up in your chair. "What the hell is she doing with another guy? How could she cheat on Namjoon?"

"Don't jump to conclusions, Y/N. That could be her brother, or her cousin, or her friend. It could really be anybody." He looked back at them as they sat down together . Looking back at you he shrugged. "We don't have any real evidence that she was cheating. And besides-" He took a sip of his coffee- "I couldn't care less."

You spent the rest of the date trying to keep conversation with Taehyung. Although you were distracted by Dahyun, you were able to keep Taehyung smiling throughout the time you spent there.
