「8」A Slap in the Face

When you arrived at school the next morning, you decided to wait outside for Taehyung. You took a seat on a bench by the driveway.

You fooled around with your phone until a slick black car drove up to the school. You look up at the tinted windows and see a woman reach over to kiss the young looking man in the driver's seat. She steps out of the car and it drives away.

You think nothing of this until the girl steps outside of the vehicle, revealing herself.

You immediately shoot up out of your seat and stomp over to her, body full of rage. You didn't have any time to think before your hands reached up and hardly slapped Dahyun in the face.

She stumbles back and holds the red mark on her cheek. A hand grabs your wrist and yanks you away.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, Y/N?" The tall boy says.

"She's cheating on you, Namjoon!" Tears begin to form as your eyes swell up and your vision blurs. "I was doing what was right!"

"My relationship is none of your business!" He cuts you off, and looks over to Dahyun. "Is this true, Dahyun?"

She begins to force herself to cry. "How could you accuse me of cheating on you? I would never hurt you like that!" She points a stern finger in your direction. "She's just so damn jealous of us!"

A waterfall begins to pour down your cheeks. "She's lying Namjoon! I saw her-"

"God damn you, Y/N." He says and throws your wrist down. "How dare you hit my girlfriend, accuse her of cheating on me, and then say she's lying! You're the real liar here!"

"I'm not lying, Namjoon! She really was cheating on you! Why won't you trust me?" Your voice shakes, matching your trembling body.

"You little snake." Namjoon spat. "Trying to ruin my life all because you're jealous! You always make everyone around you feel like shit. Maybe this is why your parents always avoid you!"

Your breath stopped and your body went numb.

"How could you say that?" You could barely get those words out of your mouth before you broke down in tears.

And before you knew it, you were running. Your weak legs brought you back to your house, where you collapsed onto the ground. You couldn't breath. You couldn't stop crying.

How could he say that? He's the only one who knows about your parents, and he broke your trust. That's what cut you the deepest. Namjoon knew you trusted him, and he stabbed you in the back.

I guess that's what you get.

Yeah I know...
Two chapters in two days? What's gotten into me? I'm not sure, actually haha. I was writing the 7th chapter and my mind just kept racing. As soon as I finished it I had too many ideas about chapter 8 that I needed to write them all down. And that's when I wrote both chapters 7 and 8 within one night...
ALSO we are almost at 200 reads! Seriously so amazing! I'm so happy that people are enjoying this book and keep coming back for more! I promise to try and keep and more consistent schedule, and focus on writing more frequently.
