"whoa 'kaashi! do you see the giraffe right there?!"
"it's right in front of us, bokuto-san. long necks are quite noticeable, you see."
"makes me feel like you're treating me like i am dumb."
"oh? you thought of that on your own."
i pouted and huffed, ready to stomp away from the savannah. akaashi's not being cooperative. i was even hoping for this date to be the most awesomely cute date ever!
"i'm sorry if i offended you, bokuto-san. please don't frown," he cooed with his motherly tone.
hmph! as if you could make me change my mind by just your mere words —
"we can go to the birds section first too."
"okay!"

one horned owl with the same color as my hair stared through me. it tilted it's head and as i was mesmerized, i followed it.
"bokuto-san, please don't break your neck."
"i know, akaashi. i won't rotate too much," i answered, not even glancing at akaashi that was right behind me. i heard the chair dragging and akaashi trudging towards me.
"that one is surprisingly cool," he commented and likewise leaned further towards the cage fence. i looked sideways and saw a small, closed smile that would make my heart flutter.
i answered, "yeah! really cool! like for reals! like me too!"
he nodded with a smile.
"you are the coolest boyfriend, bokuto-san."
