Chapter 5: The Wall Run

The wall run is when somebody runs at a wall and sort of runs up it. This is a very simple move if you have the strength and the correct form. You will need different shoes for different walls so check out my book Parkour: The Gear.

Ok so when you have the correct gear you should find a wall. If it's your first time then start with a low wall. Now, take a few steps back so you have enough space to run full blast.Now when you are running you should jump off your non-dominant foot and have your dominant foot hit the wall.

Now you should continue running but instead of going forwards you go upwards. It is advised you only take one step because two or more would send you backwards.

If you fall off the wall, hit the ground with your knees bent and do the roll we learned earlier. That is it for now. Bye!😄
