Y/N's POV
I walk up to my room and collapse onto my bed, then I decide I should bake something since I loved baking so much. I rushel back out of my room and run to the kitchen. "Ok, I'm going to make red velvet cupcakes, so I need....a bowl." I search through the cupboards for a decent sized bowl and find one good enough for making cupcakes. Matt walks into the kitchen, "hi (Y/N)!" He says joyfully "hey Matt", I reply and continue to find ingredients. " What are you doing?" Matt asks, "oh, I'm just baking some cupcakes" I say, "can I help?" He asks "sure!", I reply. He grabs the flour and pours half of it into the bowl, "we don't need all that!" I shout while he's trying to scoop it back into the bag with his hand, I get the milk and pour into a measuring cup and then into the bowl. Matt observes me as he tries to crack an egg which failed of course, it splattered all over the counter and onto Matt's hoodie. I sigh and give Matt a towel, he then gets the butter and puts it in....the microwave? Without a bowl, just the stick of butter. After 14 awkward seconds, the microwave starts to beep and Matt opens it only to find yellow liquid oozing out, "oh my gosh Edd will kill me!" I shout, Matt is just standing there helpless and Edd walks into the kitchen to find the mess we- Matt made and stood there in shock, "welp....one more thing to clean" he says and grabs some towels. "Thanks Matt", I say sarcastically. "You're welcome" he replies back. I guess we're not making cupcakes then..
