Addicted To A Game

I'm really into this game called 'The Enchanted Books' which has inspired me to make this chapter. Anyways enjoy!

Y/N's POV:

I recently got a new game called 'The Enchanted Books' and I'm loving it! I haven't really been paying attention to anything else, but the game is so addicting!

"Guys! We're going to the grocery store in a bit!" Edd shouts, everyone comes down into the living room. "Ok, I'll split us up again, just to make things easier" Edd says, "one person is going to have to be alone though." "I'll go by myself" I say, Edd nods and we get in the car.

Timeskip:

Edd's POV:

We all get in the car, I'm driving, Y/N is in the passenger seat, and Tom, Matt, and Tord are in the back. I glance at Y/N and of course, she's still playing that enchanted book game. Maybe that's why she wanted to go alone..

Y/N's POV:

Edd put me in charge of the drinks again.

I laugh at Edd's attempt to write 'cola' over and over again, and laugh even harder when I read 'A HORSE'. I also read 'HI Y/N' in Matt's handwriting.

Right now, I'm not bothering with the drinks, I'm just playing 'The Enchanted Books'. It's a really good game!

Edd's POV:

Ok, everyone should be done getting their items by now. I walk outside and text the others

Edd:Guys, I'm outside the store

Shhhh I'm trying to play The Enchanted Books!:Y/N

It's a really good game:Y/N

Tom:Y/N, don't tell me you haven't bought anything..

....:Y/N

Y/N has left the group chat

Y/N's POV:

"It's not my fault the game is really good.." I mutter to myself and run around the store, grabbing the drinks.

I pay for the items and rush outside the store, meeting up with the others. "someone finally decides to show up" Tom says, "The Enchanted Books is a good game!" I say, walking to the car. "You should play it."

We make it back home and unpack the groceries...well...only me and Edd were unpacking the groceries. Tom and Tord were in the living room, and Matt was in his room. I put the last item in the fridge and grab Edd's wrist, dragging him into the living room. "What are you doing Y/N?" Edd asks, "I'm going to show you guys The Enchanted Books. MATT!! GET DOWN HERE!!" I shout, Matt comes running down with a purple hand mirror in his hand. "What?!" He asks, also shouting. I point to the couch and he sits down, Edd sits down on the floor.

"Ok, so you all know that I'm addicted to a game called The Enchanted Books, it's about 3 enchanted books of course. Each of the books has the ability to transport you to a different world written on the their pages, you also need a special amulet. In the game, your uncle sends a letter to you about the books and that there's a 4th book hidden within one of the worlds. You have to locate and explore the 3 books that he's already hidden using clues and solving puzzles, then you have to find the 4th book using the same technice: clues and puzzles." I explain, they all seem pretty interested in it after I explained it.

"I'm onto a 3rd world right now, but you still need the other 2 worlds for clues and puzzles." Can we play it?" Tord asks excitedly, "yeah sure! You can get it on your phone" I reply, Tord runs into his room and come back down with his phone in his hands. "I told you it's a really good game", I says "since when? And how do you know me, Edd, or Matt will like it? Only Tord is playing it at the moment" Tom says, I get my phone out. But then I realized that I left the group chat. "Look on your phone, I left the group chat" I say.

"And I already know Matt and Edd like the game, just look at them" I say, pointing to Matt which is staring intensely at Tord's phone, and Edd, who has his own phone out, probably downloading the game. I turn around and find Tom with his own phone, downloading the game himself. "See, I knew you guys would like it" I say, but of course......they weren't listening, they were too focused on playing The Enchanted Books. I go onto the game  and start playing it as well.
