"Matt! Matt, what do I need to do now?' I yelled as I finished the tutorial for jumping and landed in front of a Planet Zin. "Collect multiple data clusters using your new skill." A British accent sounded through the simulation.
"Okay I'm done, Matty." I announced after collecting the last data cluster. "Did you just call me Matty?" I chuckled softly to myself, his accent sounding adorable when he's caught off guard. " Yea I did, so what?", Matt scoffed "What makes you think you could-oh forget it, arguing won't help. Just come back to the ship."
I got back to the simulation room where Matt stood alone at his computer. "Hey Matty." I cooed walking towards him, Matt looked up from his computer frowning "Don't call me that, Boss." I laughed, wrapping my arms around his chest "Why, Matty?" Matt stopped typing mid sentence and turned to face me "You're not my girlfriend, therefore you cannot call me that." Tears formed in my blue eyes threatening to fall, "I-I thought we.." mid sentence tears began to run down my cheeks, I immediately ran to my room locking my door behind me. I fell into my bed burying my face into my pillow as Matt continuously called my name from outside my door.
Eventually I heard Matt walk away, I felt my eyelids get heavy and drifted off to sleep only to wake up the next day.
I left my room for the first time in hours, mascara and eyeliner smudged on my lids and cheeks. Unfortunately, the entire crew was occupying the simulation room looking up as I walk in. "Morning boss, good thing you're awake I have some things for you to do but I might just come with. Matt and Asha are acting couply and I'm about to barf." My heart dropped as I looked over where Matt and Asha was. Asha was laughing at everything Matt said, using every chance she got to touch him. "O-Okay, let's get out of here."
