The next time Annabeth woke up, Percy stayed asleep as she sat up.

His arm was draped over her waist, holding her to him as he softly snored. Annabeth chuckled and wiped a bit of drool from the corner of his mouth. He scrunched up his nose and buried his face in her stomach after she touched him.

Annabeth clamped a hand to her mouth to keep her giggles in, to not wake him up. She looked down at him and smiled softly.

She bit her lip, only to find it still a little tender from earlier.

Earlier . . . Annabeth's cheeks lit up as she thought about it. She looked Percy over again, his lips were bright pink and he had light scrapes on his neck, from her nails and teeth. Oh great, she thought, Thalia and Piper are never going to let me live this down.

But a smile took her face over anyways.

She laid back, her head propped up on a mound of pillows, and ran her hand through his hair. Her fingers combed through the dark mess as her other hand traced circles on his arm.

He hummed low in his throat and shifted, tightening his hold on her as if to drag her back down to him. She giggled, the sound making his nose scrunch up and his eyes to start blinking open. He looked up at her, his eyes glazed with sleep, and smiled lazily.

Annabeth bit the inside of her cheek, even as she smiled back at him.

"Hey there, Wise Girl." He mumbled, stretching before settling beside her, propped against the pillows.

She smiled at him and let her head fall onto his shoulder. "Hey there, Percy." He wrapped one arm around her as she slipped hers around his chest. "How did you sleep?" He yawned as if it was an answer and she giggled again.

"Fine, You?" She yawned and he poked her in the ribs for teasing him. She giggled but nodded as if in answer. "Good." He said, tilting her chin up to look at him. His smile warmed her to her very core. He tilted her face to the side, looking at her neck, and froze. "Oh, shit." He murmured.

"What?" Annabeth asked, confused.

"Um, well . . . Do you own a scarf?" He asked, obviously trying to hold back laughter, his green eyes sparkling with wicked delight.

Annabeth bolted out of the bed and ran for the bathroom mirror.

She blinked slowly, looking at the side of her throat, where three red spots bloomed right above where her neck and shoulder met. Fuck.

Percy walked in and wrapped his arms around her, smirking endlessly as he tucked his head into the other side of her neck. "You know the others are going to give me hell for this right?" Annabeth muttered, still looking the hickeys over.

His green eyes danced with amusement as he nodded, his nose grazing the column of her throat. She swallowed and he smirked.

Annabeth blinked, then started grinning.

"What?" Percy asked, pausing. He knew it was never a good thing when that look worked its way onto Annabeth's face. "Wise Girl, what did you just think of?"

She smiled innocently up at him. "Just that I have the perfect plan to scare the shit out of my friends." Percy was grinning now too. Annabeth placed her hands on his chest and started walking them back to the bedroom. "Now here's the plan." She murmured.

"I'm listening." He said as she turned them around, grabbing his shirt and puling him down onto the bed.

Thalia, Piper, Jason, and Reyna had taken up various spots in Thalia's room.

The décor of the room was much like any other in the building. Her bedspread was black, the desk empty of anything save her backpack she had brought along with her. Reyna had left her suitcase next to the door, the purple plastic caught the light through the window and gleamed.

The armchair sat across from the bed was a dark grey, flecked with white. It was from there that Thalia sat, thinking.

She had watched what happened with Luke, all of it.

Even though it happened the day before, none of them were acting like it didn't mean anything. Their group was now down a Hunter, and a damn good one at that.

However, they all agreed that he had to go, if he was capable of trying that with someone like Annabeth, who he had grown up with, what was he doing when they weren't by his side? They couldn't have him around, he was a bastard through and through.

Thalia was sat on the arm of the chair in her room, Reyna sat in the actual chair part. The former had her arms crossed and a frown firmly in place. The latter, had her hands steepled over her stomach, a look of concentration gracing her lovely features.

Jason was sat on the foot of the bed Thalia hadn't bothered to make, as was his girlfriend. He had one arm wrapped around her waist and she let her head rest on the space between his neck and shoulder.

They were worried for Annabeth.

She hadn't left her room yet, and every time any of them went up to the door it was locked. Thalia went as far as to unlock it with a rune, but Percy was just behind it shaking his head and closing the door again.

The female Hunter had raged to her friends after that. Why should he get to see her? Who gave him the right to do that?

Then her friends had calmed her down, saying Annabeth was probably just sleeping it off and he was keeping an eye on her. They all thought that maybe Percy was Annabeth's . . .

Heels clicking on marble interrupted Thalia's thoughts.

And what strutted through her door scared the living shit out of her.

Golden curls pulled to the side and thrown over her right shoulder, the left side of her neck on full display as if she didn't even care. A grey, cropped sweater and semi-high waisted, black, skinny jeans showed off her midriff.

Her knee-high grey boots had straps for days, and the three inch heels were nice.

Barest traces of makeup were dusted over her eyes, her lips painted a dark red.

Oh, if she wanted to scare the shit out of her friends, she accomplished it. And from the looks she was getting, it was so worth it.

Thalia stood up, blinking. "What the fuck is on your neck?" She hissed, as if whoever had left the marks was now on her personal kill list. Annabeth grinned as a pair of arms snaked around her waist and pulled her against a male figure.

Percy grinned before kissing the spot between her neck and shoulder for all to see.

Electric blue eyes filled with challenge. Thalia was trying to stalk over to them, probably to try and put Percy in a coma, but Reyna was holding her back.

Piper stood up, sighing. "You know we are never letting you live this down, right?" Her kaleidoscope eyes glimmered with joy, sheer relief lining the smile on her gorgeous face.

"Oh I know," Annabeth chuckled, entwining her hands with Percy's on her stomach. "I just wanted to piss Thalia off a little." Jason laughed at that, Piper giggling right along side him. "Now, do any of you want to help us catch the prick that keeps running around trying to start shit?"
