【fairy tail】I ran back home and you came to 《discontinued 》

~chapter two~

★ Narrator's POV ★
"I'm sorry to disappoint but I planned to go on a job with Lucy, Erza, Gray, happy and me" said natsu looking over at Lucy who tuck a in a deep breath of relief hearing  natsu's words "please natsu please!" Lissanna said tugging on his arm "but" natsu replied "it's fine in don't mind" Lucy said knowing that they haven't been on a job together for two years it would be nice for them to catch up. Right?Lucy said to herself "I need to relax!" Smiling fackely at lissanna as she walked out of the guild with her head hung low "oh ok. I mean she could have just came along to" natsu mumbled under his breath as he wanted to spend time with the celestial mage and his other friends "hey natsu!" Called Erza also known as the queen of fairies "I'm sorry I'm gonna have to bail out of this job the master gave me a special task it shouldn't take to long!" Erza said to natsu and lissanna who still had her arms wrapped around his "ok bye I guess?" Natsu said waving as she pulled her trailer of clothes and belongings out of the guild that had now quited down from the excitement of lissanna's return "looks like it's just me you gray and happy!" Lissanna smiles up to Natsu "yea!" Natsu tried to act exited but to the disappearance of his best friend he was slightly disappointed "ok gray and happy pack your things we're leaving this afternoon"looking around he saw the deep blue haired eighteen year old walking out the guild, slump with his hands in is trousers which was oddly unusual for him to be wearing them without taking them off "okayyyyy........Looks like it's just me, you and......... happy?"
"Sorry natsu Carla finally accepted my offer for a fishing date!!" Happy squealed in pure excitement but also a slight tone of guiltiness that he let down Natsu and Lissanna.

★ Gray's POV ★
I felt bad for Lucy she had been looking forward to the mission for such a long time. Lucky flame brain gets to spend all his time with Lucy and throws her away like a piece of trash he bought at a shop, just disrespectful. To tell the truth I have like. No that's an understatement, I have loved her for such a long time and of course she loves that walking fire hazard. I can see it in her eyes. The way she looks at him with her large beautiful brown eyes, I wish she would look at me like that. Anyway the reason I left the guild before natsu could say anything too me was because Lucy looked hurt to say that natsu could go on a job with that lissanna bitch.

I finally made it to Lucy's house I heard faint sobbing from outside her apartment. I made my way into her apartment block and  knock on her door "who....is ......it?" She said through sniffles "it's me Gray"I said standing in front "what a-are you doing h-here" I could tell she was still crying "I wanted to see if your ok. But your obviously not so can I please come in" my arm was now resting on the door waiting for a response "o-okay" she was hesitant but she finally opened the door. A loud clicking sound was made by the door; it slowly opened to reveal a side of Lucy I had never seen before she look so venerable.   She was wearing a over sized light grey shirt with some baggy matching sweat pants,  her hair was in a scruffy bun and her eyes where red and puffy her face still stained with tears that slid down her face only moments ago.

I shot through the door grabbing her shoulders saying "oh my god! Lucy are you ok!"  She stared looking down at her feet that whet covered in a pare of fluff white and baby blue socks for a moment and replied timidly with a simple 'no' she then pulled me towards her and grabbed my shirt the held onto me tightly and sobbed quietly into my no tear stained shirt , I didn't mind though. To comfort her I held her back and the back of her head rubbing it softly saying 'it will be ok' repeatedly "tell me about it inside" I said softly easing away "yea ok" she timidly let go and led me into the living room. It's interesting how in a few hours someone can let them self go so much. There was tissues scatted across the carpet and on her sofa.

★Lucy's POV★
It's embarrassing to see gray to have to see me this way. But his company is nice he makes we feel slightly whole again, instead of my heart scattered into shard segments waiting to be rearranged.

He sat on my coral coloured sofa and I went to the kitchen and mage to tea and grabbed a packet of biscuits. About five minuets later I came back with two cups of tea and a plate of chocolate chip cookies. I place them down on the table and sat next to him "So.....can you tell me why you where crying" I took a deep Breath in and started "it obviously happened when lissanna came running towards natsu giving him hug I guess I felt jealous that he hugged her as soon as her arm wrapped around him" I began to rant "And then her talking about going on a job with you, Erza and happy I guess I got triggered and I got caught in the moment and said she can go instead of me" I broke down in tears "and the way he looked at her and the way held her it looked as someone was going to take her away and I wanted natsu to hold me like that, with clove" I looked up at gray and he pulled me into a tight, caring hug "look gray I'm weak I'm so so weak all I can do in stand behind my spirits and if a get taken I have to rely on you and the team to come and rescue me. I feel horrible. Only If I told him sooner about my feelings for him."

★ Narrator's POV ★
She began to hit his chest and he just held on tighter "look lucy" he started "your not weak you the strongest person I know after all you've been through you still smile and make everyone else smile to. And not to mention your beautiful inside and outside. So stop beating your self up about it I know you like Natsu but I love you more than he ever could!" Gray said having a mini rant holding and shaking Lucy's shoulders "Gray I........um not sure what to say"
