Ever since we have moved here in this town I have been noticing this town isn't normal, at all.

Even though nothing happened in this small town, I just trusted my instincts.

I remember the day. When nothing was right. I woke up feeling different, and like someone was watching me. I was alone in my dark room. I felt fear. That's something I never feel. It wasn't normal, and something happened. I hear a high pitch scream from outside the window. Think of this like the end of the world, that's how I felt. I know that scream, it's Grace.

I look around my room and hope it was my imagination. I hear her scream again. For sure this time it wasn't a dream, it was reality.I run down the stairs, and I open the door. I couldn't see anything. I grab my phone and turn on my flashlight. I dropped my phone in my sight. I froze before anything else happened. I was to late. She already fell to the ground.

I run up to her and start screaming. He said, "This isn't the last you have seen of me. I will see you again, maybe not in reality but someday I will see you. He just disappeared in the darkness. He was gone.

She had tears rolling down her face. She was bleeding a lot and I got nauseous and threw up. After that I screamed for help, that was all I could do. My neighbors run out the door to see what had happened. They called the police, ambulance, etc. While they were doing that I kept throwing up because of the blood and the nervousness.

As the ambulance carries her in the truck, I look at her with tears in my eyes.

5:00 a.m that same day.

I kept pasting around in the office. I was so nervous I couldn't help it but cry. I probably waited the longest time, but I did it for her. I started thinking about earlier. Nothing bad has ever happened in this small town. Until today, it was the first time something happened. We were a calm place where no one ever really visits, and we were a really known town.

I wondered why did this happen.

When they called me to her room I get even more nervous. I walk in and hear her say , " I will miss you. I love you, Katherine." Slowly closing her eyes I run up to her and start crying. I tried calling the doctors but they were to late. All I could her is a high pitched beep. I couldn't believe my eyes. She was gone.

That was the day I lost my best friend, Grace.
