A child in your eyes

Chapter 5

Danny POV
I woke up and I looked around. I don't know where I am. So I cried. Why? I have no idea. A man came in and hugged me. I know him. It's Vlad! I calmed down and looked at up at him.

"Where's mommy and daddy?..... Mom and dad hurt me." I said remembering what they did to me. He looked at me sadly.

"Do you remember me Danny?" He asked.

"Yes you're Vlad Masters." I said

He seemed relieved that I remembered him. I was in my mind now it is kind of fuzzy though.

My tummy rumbled and I looked at Vlad.

"Are you hungry Danny?" He asked.

"A little bit." I replied sheepishly.

"Well come on then!" He said and he picked me up and threw me in the air. I was giggling and he laughed too. It was fun. We went to the kitchen and he asked me what I wanted, the little kid inside of me overpowered me and I said ice cream. He chuckled but got out some strawberry ice cream and scooped me some and I ate it happily. After we watched a movie (Finding Dory) and then we went to the park. I felt happy that I didn't need to act fourteen, I could just be happy. We went on the slide and then Vlad pushed me on the swing. I went so high!! We went home after and Vlad said he wanted to talk to me about something important. We went to his bedroom which was huge. He started,

"Danny you still have your fourteen year old mind yes?"

"Yeah," I said

"Well I want to talk to him about this." He said.

"Okay he is here," I said focusing on what he was saying.

"When I was leaving your house with you Jack said you would be gone in three days. At first I didn't understand what that meant, but now I do. Do you know what it means?" He said.

"Yes I won't remember anything about my past. I'll just be a three year old boy. I might not even remember you." I said as looked up at him with a sad face.

"What do you want me to do when you forget? Can even become Phantom anymore?" He asked.

" I don't want you to tell me about my past. My three year old self will be more happy if he doesn't remember. I also haven't tried to go ghost but I can try." I replied.

"Okay." He said

I tried to go ghost and it worked but I was fourteen again.

"Oh my God Vlad. They must not have been able to change my ghost." I said excitedly.

Vlad just stood there wide eyes and mouth hitting the floor. I flew to him and gave him a hug. It seemed like he came back to reality when I hugged him.

"I remember everything. It's not all fuzzy now." I remarked.

"This could be a way to change you back. He said

"Really," I said hopefully.

"Yes of course." He said.

I suddenly felt really tired and I fell. Vlad caught me. I looked up at him worriedly.

" You should change back. This form is all to take on for a three year old." He said.

"I'm not three," I said matter a factually. But I changed back anyway and snuggled up to him. I felt tiny in his arms, but he carried me to my room and put me in my bed.

"It's been a long day, you should get some rest." He said as I dosed off into a peaceful slumber.

Most of the chapters will be in Vlad POV because it is easier than making a three year old POV, but I'll try to make some in Danny's POV.
