Vlad POV
I woke up in the middle of the night to here crying again and I knew it was Danny. I got up and walked into Danny's room. What I saw surprised me. Danny was a sobbing mess and was sitting in bed surrounded by sick. I rushed over to him.

"Let's get you cleaned up okay?" I said calmly.

"My tummy hurts!" He cried.

"I know, come here." I said as I scooped him up and brought him to the bathroom.

I set him down on the floor and his tears reduced to sniffled. I started to strip him of his clothes. I took his shirt off and he grabbed my hand.

"I gonna be sick." He said.

My eyes widened and I brought him to the toilet. He gagged and threw up what I hope is the last of his stomach.  When he was done he started crying again.

"Don't cry Danny your going to make it worse." I said gently hoping to calm him down.

That just made him cry harder so I hugged him gently and whispered calming words: it's okay, it's going to be alright, I'll make it better. He calmed down a bit and I started a bath. I finished undressing him and set him in the warm water. He relaxed and I washed him up. I took him out and wrapped him the biggest fluffiest towel I had. He was still sniffling and he sneezed and shivered. I dried him off and put in in some new pj's. I cleaned up his bed and changed the sheets. I got a thermometer and stuck it under his tongue. He wouldn't hold still but it eventually beeped. I took it out and it read, 103.1 degrees. That's a high fever for someone so small. I need to cool him down. I set him down on his fresh new sheets. I was walking out  to grab some supplies.

"Where are you going?" He asked weakly.

"I'm getting some stuff to make you better." I said.

"Don't leave me alone." He said shakily.

"I'll just be a minute." I said wondering why he was so scared for me to leave.

When I was in the kitchen getting some water for Danny I heard him start crying again. I went back in the room and he ran up to me and hugged me.

"What's wrong Danny?" I asked confused.

"Why'd you leave?" He asked.

"I already told you Danny." I said skeptically.

I felt his head and he was burning up but he was shivering. He must be delusional with fever. I picked him up and brought him to the kitchen. I set him on the table and wet a cloth. I put it on his forehead. He shivered but I had to reduce his fever.

"Can you drink some water for me please?" I asked and handed him the glass.

He took a sip and he made a face and grabbed his throat and rubbed it.

"Does it hurt your throat?" I asked.

He just nodded not wanting to hurt his throat more. He took one more sip and set his cup down. I got some medicine and gave it to him. He looked at it in disgust. He shook his head and set the cup of medicine on the table. I sighed of course he wouldn't want it. He needs to take this so his fever goes down.

"It will you feel better." I tried.

He looked at me skeptically. Suddenly his face contorted in discomfort. He jumped off the table, surprisingly landed on his feet, stood a bit disoriented, and ran to the bathroom. I rushed after him and saw him throwing up violently. He was crying and shaking so I went up to him and rubbed his back. When he was done he collapsed onto me. I picked him up and noticed he was very light. I brought him back into the kitchen and sat down at one of the chairs at the table. I cuddled him for a little while and grabbed the medicine. I put it to his lips and he drank it before he realized what was in the cup. He scrunched up his features from the bitter aftertaste. I brought him back to his room and laid him back down. He fell asleep almost instantly.
