Chapter 7

Maddie POV
We need to get Danny back. We didn't have enough time to transform his ghost form and he could hurt us. His sadness about us hurting him will turn into anger. Vlad will want to see his ghost form and figure it out. Let's just hope that his three year old body won't be strong enough to hold that form. I've talked to Jack and Jasmine about this and they agreed that we needed him back. Danny has always been a disappointment and I never wanted to have him. He just a reminder of my mistakes. .....I had an affair and made it look like Jack was the father. I slowly made Jack hate Danny as I did and we finally agreed to experiment on him. Jazz knew about the affair and she grew to despise him. She was the one who wanted us to experiment on him. We made a plan that we would kidnap him while they were out. He would probably keep a close eye on him, but he's bound to get distracted sometime. We would spy on them until the moment was right. Jack even got some supplies for us to be more secretive about spying. We didn't want Vlad to know we were watching him.

Danny POV
I had to process this a bit. What did he mean by going ghost. I looked at him confused and tilted my head sideways. He sighed.

"I'm sowwwwyyy!" I said as I burst into tears. I could feel my old self slipping away. He looked at me wide eyed and embraced me with a hug.

"It's okay my little Danny." He said.

"Pwomise?" I asked.

"Promise." He said.

Suddenly it clicked. I knew what go ghost meant. I let go, looked at him and smiled.

"I remember!!" I squealed.

I turned ghost and instantly remembered everything.

"Vlad I remember everything." I said.

"I might be able to reverse the affects of the serum that they gave you." He said.

"Really so I will be back to my old self?"
I asked hopefully.

"Well I'm not sure yet how to change your body but your mind will be cured." He said.

I was beginning to feel weak. My three year old body can't take this much power.

"Vlad I.... I can't hold this form for much longer." I said

"I have one more question. Should I tell your other form about your ghost powers so I can help switch your mind back?"

"Y-yeah." I said.

Vlad came over to me.

"It's alright I've got you." He said.

I changed back and collapsed in his arms.

"What happened?" I asked.

"It's not important alright." He said calmly.

I was so tired and I snuggled in his arms. He was so warm and I was freezing. I sneezed and looked at Vlad. He put his hand on my forehead and said,

"You seem a bit warm. Are you feeling okay Danny?"

"I'm cold." I said snuggling up to him.

He laid me in my bed and told me I should rest. I was still cold but Vlad put another blanket on me and I fell asleep.
