Chapter 3

Jae's point of view~

I woke up to my phone ringing. I went to reach for my phone and I fell off my bed. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I got up and put my blanket on my bed and picked up my phone. I looked and saw a message from my friend.

"Hurry up or you'll be late for school!"-Brian

I got up and went to the bathroom to rinse my face. Once I got out I put on my uniform for school. I walked out of my room and went to the kitchen to see my dad finishing up his food.

"Oh Jae good morning." He said and smiled at me.

"Good morning dad." I said and sat down on the chair.

"Jae there is food for you. I have to head out to work. Have a good day at school." My dad said hugging me and left for work.

I finished my food and went to brush my teeth before I head out to school. I walked out and looked at the clear sky. Another day in Seoul.

I started to walk to school. Once I got there I ran to the gate before I would be late. I ran to class because if I'm late I'll get points taken off. I ran into class and a few seconds later the teacher came in.

"Jae I see you aren't late today. Please have a seat." The teacher said and I bowed at her before going to my seat.

"Did you not see my text!" My friend Young K yelled whisper at me.

"I did but I stopped to get boba Brian." I said and he signed.

"It's Young K Jae." Sungjin said to me.

"You're going to be the death of us Jae." Wonpil said.

"Boys in the back pay attention please." The teacher said and we all bowed our heads.

Lunch time~

"Hey, Jae want to go to the cafe after school?" Wonpil asked me.

"Bro I'm lactose I can't eat almost anything there." I said.

"Let's get boba instead?" Young K suggests.

"Okay, but I'll have to leave early since I have a shift today." I said and they nodded.

"So we'll stop by at the restaurant and meet you there." Young K said and I choked on my water.

"I ain't paying for your food again." I said and they awed.

"Please, Jae." Sungjin and Dowoon said at the same time.

"Fine, only because Dowoon and Sungjin asked me or else I wouldn't have." I said making them cheer.

"Let's go before the bell rings and we get late." I said standing up.

After school~

We walked to the boba please near school. We walked in and sat on 'our' table.

"Which boba are y'all gonna get? I'm going to get the mango slushy with the green bubbles." I said looking at the menu.

"I want the Thai tea one." Wonpil said.

"I'll get what Wonpil is getting." Dowoon said.

"I'll get grape slushy I guess." Sungjin said.

"I'm getting the green tea one." Young K said and put the menu down. The waiter saw us and came to us.

"How can I help you." He said.

"Yes can we have one mango slushy with green bubbles please, one green tea boba, two Thai tea boba, and one grape slushy one. And that's it please." Young K said and she wrote everything down and nodded.
