Chapter 4

Talie's point of view~

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I groaned and turned it off. I have to get up for school. I went to the bathroom to shower for school. Once I got out Allie was in my room.

"Good morning Allie." I told her.

"Good morning. Talie grandma said to come home right after school so we can get ready for the ritual." Allie said and left my room.

I put on my school uniform and braided my hair then put it up. I walked out of my room and into the room where we eat.

"Good morning grandma." I said and she smiled at me.

"Good morning. Sit and eat breakfast before school." She said and I sat down and started to eat.

"Are you ready for later Talie?" My grandma asked me.

"Ready as I'll ever be grandma." I said and took a bit out of my food.

"Allie are you ready?" I asked her.

"More ready than you'll ever be." She told me and stick her tongue out on me.

"I'll get you back." I said and she giggled.

"Girls finish up eating before you're late for school." Our grandma said.

"Wanna race to see who'll eat the fastest." She told me.

"Is that a challenge Allie." I said with a smirk.

"Ready set....GO!" I said and we began to finish our food.

I stuffed my mouth to make sure I win. I'm a very competitive person. 

"I win!" I yelled and looked at her.

"How!" She yelled with a full mouth.

"Let's go brush our teeth and go to school." I said pulling her along with me.

"Talie don't pick me up from school today. I'm going to walk home with some friends." Allie said.

"Did grandma let you?" I asked her while raising my eyebrow at her.

"She said yes because you walk home with your friends." She told me while brushing her teeth.

"But I'm 16 you're only 10." I said.

"But do you know where we live. Nothing happens here. No crimes so I'm safe to walk with my friends." She told me then rinsed her mouth.

"That's true." I said and rinsed my mouth as well.

We finished brushing our teeth. I went to my room and did my hair. Making sure I put a ribbon on my hair today. I walked out of my room and went to the door and put on my shoes.

"Bye grandma." Allie and I said as we walked out.

I waved to my little sister before I started to walk to school. I went to the convenience store and bought some chips and banana milk.

"Thank you." I told the cashier and bowed at her.

When I walked out of the store I saw Kaori and Kousei.

"Oh hey, guys. Want some?" I offered then my chips.

"So Talie, Kaori and I are going to your ritual performance later." Kousei said and got some chips.

"Yeah, I can't wait." Kaori said and took a sip of my banana milk.

"Hey, we are too!" Watari yelled at them.

"Let's go to school before we are late." I said and we walked to school.

Once we entered the school gates we greeted the gym teacher.
