Jae's point of view~

"The number you are trying to call is not available or has been turned off...." I hung up the phone.

I'll tell her about the disastrous date the next time we switch, I thought. But...For some reason, after that, Talie and I never switched places again.

~At home

I sat down on my desk and continued to draw the sceneries that I saw when I was in Talie's body. I drew the lake I saw when we were going to the Baek's Shrine. I started a new drawing but erased it. I drew all night. I check the time and it was 2:30 am. I should get some rest. I turned off the light and went to bed.

~A few days later

I woke up and looked around hoping I was in Talie's body. I was in my room. I got up to get ready for school. I walked out of my house and walked to school. Why haven't Talie and I switched bodies? What happened?

~

I went on my phone and searched up Hida mountains and looked for the lake that was where Talie lives. You see I don't know where she lives. All I know she lives near a lot of mountains and lakes. Somewhere in the countryside. The days went by and I continued my drawings along with trying to find her. I don't know why we stopped switching bodies out of the blue but I want to meet her. I decided I was going to find her. I packed up my backpack and put all the drawings in there. I made sure I had everything. I let Young K know I'm leaving. I walked out the door and headed to the station.

"What the...What are you doing here?" I told Jamie and Young K.

"Brian told me and here I am!" Jamie said with a smile.

We bought our tickets and went on the train. We sat on the back of the train.

"Brian, I asked you to cover for me at home and at work." I whispered to him.

"Firstly it's Young K, and Wonpil will cover your shifts and Dowoon will cover Jamie's." He told me. Young K pulled out his phone and played a video for me.

"Leave it to me! But you owe me a meal." Wonpil said with a thumbs up and Dowoon next to him.

"This isn't funny." I told him.

"We are worried about you Jae." He said.

"Huh?" I asked him.

"You can't go alone. What if it's a con act?" He said.

"A con act?" I asked him.

"You're meeting an online friend right." Jamie said.

"Well no, not exactly.." I said.

"I think he's using a dating site." Young K said.

"No!" I yelled and earned a few looks.

"You've been acting weird lately. We'll keep an eye on you." Young K said.

"I'm not a kid!" I yelled at him. Jamie and Young K kept talking while I sat there in silence.

The switching stopped. My calls and texts didn't go through. So I decided to see Talie in person. I wanted to meet her. But...

"What? You don't know where? The town scenery is your only clue?" Jamie asked me as we ate on the train.

"Yes." I said back.

"And you can't contact her? What's that about?" Jamie asked me.

"Seriously. What a lousy tour planner." Young K said.

"I did not plan a tour!" I yelled at Young K.

"Oh well. We'll help you look for her." Jamie said.

We went into a store and I went to look at the map to see where are we. Let's see. We are here and...

"Oh how cute! Look, Jae!" I heard Jamie say as she looked at the person in a cute bunny costume.

"They are so annoying. I'm trying to find Talie here." I said to myself and looked back at the map.

"Oh, it moved!" Jamie said as she jumped up and down. Young K was taking photos.

After we left and I kept going around asking everyone have they seen where the scenery is at. They all said no. While Jamie and Young K messed around I kept asking everyone. I looked at my google maps looking for it. We found this farmer and his wife. I went to ask them while Young K and Jamie played cards.

"Excuse me do you by any chance know where this is?" I asked them.

"No, I'm sorry." The farmer's wife said.

"Oh thank you." I said and looked at Young K and Jamie. I walked over to them.

"Let's go guys." I said and walked away from them.

I kept asking everyone but they kept sending me to different places. We took a bus and they fell asleep on me.

"So it's impossible after all." I said as my head hung low while we wait for another bus.

"What? After all the trouble we went through?" Jamie said.

"You haven't done anything!" I told them while taking off my glasses and pushing my hair back.

We took the bus to a ramen shop. Once we got there we walked inside and sat down.

"Hello, what would you guys like to order?" She asked us.

"Three orders of spicy ramen please." Young K said.

"Okay, I'll be right back with your orders." She said and left. She came back 5 minutes later and brought out food.

"Enjoy." She said and left.

"Can we return to Seoul today?" I asked Young K and Jamie.

"We could be cutting it close. I'll check." He said and pulled out his phone.

"Thanks." I said and started to eat.

"Are you okay with that?" Jamie asked me.

"I'm starting to feel like I'm barking up the wrong tree." I said and put my plate down and grabbing the drawing I did of the lake.

"Why young man, that's Busan, isn't it." The old lady said while pouring more water in our cups.

"It's a very good drawing. Isn't it." She said to her husband.

"Yeah, it's Busan. Brings back memories." He said.

"He was born in Busan." She said.

"Busan...?" I said to myself.

"Yes! Busan Town! That's it! It's nearby, isn't it?" I asked them.

"Yeah but Busan.." The wife said.

"Busan was..." He said.

"Busan no way!" Jamie said.

"Is it where the comet?" Is what Jamie asked.

I ran out of the shop and ran to Busan. Jamie and Young K followed me. Once we got there I walked closer. I saw signs that said to keep out. I walked closer and saw a big hole filled with water. And everything was a disaster.

"Jae, is this really the place?" Jamie asked me.

"No way! Jae, you must be misremembering." Young K said.

"No. I'm sure this is it." I said.

'This schoolyard. The mountains. I remember it this high school so clearly!" I said to them.

"That can't be true." Young K said.

"Surely you remember that disaster that took hundreds of lives three years ago!" Jamie said.

"Died three years ago?" I said and remembered seeing the comet in the sky three years ago.

"I still have the memos that she left behind." I said and took out my phone.

I opened the diary app and clicked one of her entries. I looked at it and couldn't read it. It all turned into gibberish. I rubbed my eyes and looked again. They were all deleting. They all were gone. No entries. From the first time we started...are now all gone.
