Hans' P.O.V.
We walked into the marketplace, filled with people looking for items to buy. "Wow," I heard Elsa say. I turned to face her and saw that her eyes had widened with awe and she was speechless.
"Has the queen of Arendelle never gone to a marketplace?" I asked playfully. She looked at me and blushed.
"No. I've never really gotten contact with the outside world," she said shyly, looking back at the marketplace.
"Well, there's always a first for everything," I replied, smiling. "Why don't you go on ahead? Start looking around. I'll catch up," I said. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Okay. See you then," she said, waving goodbye as she disappeared into the tangle of people.
I sauntered around the marketplace, occasionally being greeted by the townspeople. I looked around, hoping I could find something for Elsa. I came upon a kiosk that sold necklaces and rings. Not that I was going to propose to her. I wasn't. I just wanted to get her something special.
"Excuse me sir. But would you mind telling me how much this costs?" I asked the man running the kiosk, pointing to an emerald necklace.
"Oh. But of course. That would be sixty." Just as I was pulling out my money to buy it, I heard a scream. No, not a scream. More like a shrill cry for help.
Elsa's P.O.V.I couldn't believe I was actually in a marketplace. I had always wanted to live the life of an average person, even if it was only getting breakfast at the marketplace.
Apples. Apples. Where could I find apples. Somehow I suddenly got a craving for apples. I guess that would be my breakfast.
I arrived at the kiosk where they sold the apples and picked one out. It was crimson red and looked juicy and fresh. I looked around, wondering if there was an owner or someone who ran the little shop. To my surprise, there was no one there. "Hello? Is anyone here?" No one answered. Then a possible thought struck me. What if the apples were there for people to pick as they please?
I hid the apple in my hands and slowly walked away. I still felt a little suspicious about the apple. "Where do you think you're going with that apple?" I whipped my head around in all directions, looking for the source of the voice. I knew I shouldn't have stolen it. Out of nowhere, a tall, bulky man appeared; a butcher knife in his hand. I felt panic wash over me.
"Oh. No, sir. Forgive me. I didn't think anyone would claim these apples," I explained in a shaky voice.
"You'd better be telling the truth." I scanned around. All I saw were scared faces looking at both of us. Suddenly, I felt a cold, thick hand wrap around mine.
"Let me go!" I demanded. I didn't want to use my powers. I could hurt someone and I didn't want that to happen again.
"Hasn't anyone taught you about stealing?" I looked around, desperate. If only someone could save me.
"Hans!" I yelled in panic. The man raised his butcher knife above his head so that all could see.
"Who is this Hans? Nobody will come save you. Ever!" On the word 'ever' he tightened his grip, forcing tears out of my eyes.
"Ow! Stop it! You're hurting me!" I begged. I just needed a happy ending right now. Hans would ride to me on Snow and save me from this merciless killer.
He lowered the knife so that the blade touched my skin. I felt my tears freezing at my cheeks as I looked at the man's fiery cold eyes. "No. Please."
"Release her this instant!" I heard a familiar voice demand. I craned my head and saw Hans. His eyes sharper than ever.
"And who might you be, pretty boy?" the man asked.
"I am Prince Hans of the Southern Isles. Now release the queen of Arendelle or you will face the consequences." The man immediately released me and I hurried to Hans's side. I felt my heartbeat pick up speed and I could feel sharp icicles forming on the ground below my hands. My breathing got heavier.
"Queen Elsa. I am very sorry, your majesty. Forgive me," the man said apologetically, bowing before me.
I stepped out from Hans's side, now with a more serious face than a scared one. "You are forgiven," I said to him. Then I remembered the apple. "I think I need to return something." I picked up the apple that had fallen on the ground during the incident and handed it to the man.
"Oh, no, no! Keep it," the man said, returning it. "Take it as a gift. From me to you."
"Thank you," I said.
"Should we be going?" Hans asked as politely as possible. I knew he wanted to explode deep inside. I raised my chin and slowly started walking away from the man. And Hans. "What were you thinking?" he whispered-shouted at me as he caught up to me.
"I was thinking that I could get something to eat," I snapped back.
"Gosh, you are a lot like your sister," he said, scratching the back of his neck. I rolled my eyes to that remark and kept going. "Alright. Come on," he said, pulling me to the delicious scent of syrup, waffles, and the great beyond.

*wipes sweat* So? What do you think? I think this is the longest chapter I have ever made. EVER. If you're wondering, 'Hey. Where have I seen this before?' That is right. If you are thinking of the marketplace scene in Aladdin where Jasmine almost gets killed, you are correct! I will never give up on Aladdin. One of my all-time favorites. Anyways, feel free to comment or criticize (remember, I take constructive criticism).
And now comes forth thy next chapter . . .
