Garrett's Point Of View
I'm too excited right now. I didn't think I would have the opportunity to take (y/n) out! I didn't think he liked me the way I liked him. Thinking about it, there's something I wanna do that hopefully helps him get through his dark past. Truly I like (y/n) so so much it makes me feel bad that he hurts so much. The one thing thats probably what might freak me out is my own nerves. "I guess this will work. Nothing fancy. All casual." I grin at my outfit choice. The flannel that (y/n) has designated as his favorite shirt of mine, a simple blue and brown pattern with a pair of khaki pants, vans and of course a snap back. I think a spook or something followed us home. Out of nowhere, I can hear a male voice singing. That's never happened before in my house who is that?! Am I getting robbed?! Creeping through the place, there's no one in the living room or the kitchen. The singing comes from (y/n)s room. "(Y/n?) are you decent? What is that?" Jiggling the knob it's unlocked. I can't help but put my hand over my glasses, I'm so timid in body it makes me so nervous. Not the best idea when I walk into the bathroom doorframe with a thump. "Garrett? What are you doing?" Says (y/n). "I heard singing and I was wanting to know if you were playing music or if a ghost followed us home." I kept my hands over my eyes despite my throbbing forehead. "I'm dressed you know." His tiny hands pulled mine from my face carefully. He was right. His outfit was skaterish and a bit punky. (Y/n) sports a short sleeved band t-shirt, black ripped jeans and a pair of red high tops. "You're wearing short sleeves?" "I felt like I shouldn't hide myself anymore. Having you with me makes me feel better." That's so sweet! "What was that singing?" (Y/n) looked embarrassed. "That was me. I just felt really happy and wanted to sing while I got ready." "I didn't know you could sing you sound so amazing!" I grin seeing (y/n) start to blush. "Are you going to tell me where we're going or leave me wondering?" (Y/n) crosses his arms raising an eyebrow in question while I hold the door open. "I don't want to give anything away because what I have in mind I cant tell how you'll respond. So, I have to leave you in wonder." (Y/n) rubs my arm with affection. I can already tell how appreciative he is. "If it's okay, I have to blind fold you." "Garret. I'm starting to find this really sketchy." Carefully I tie a black band around his (e/c) eyes. "No peeks. I can tell if you do." I laugh starting the car.
Who knows how this is going to turn out.
"Okay (y/n)." He stumbles while holding my hand. "I can't see. I thought the leader was supposed to GUIDE the blind." "Hey, I'm being a great guide." A giant smile hasn't left my face since the moment we left. "We're here. I'm scared that you might hit me when you see where we are." I can feel myself starting to sweat because this could be really good or really bad. "Why would I hit you?" Removing the blindfold, (y/n) let's put a muffled scream into his hands. "No no no don't panic it's okay I brought you here for a reason!" (Y/n) actually does hit my arm. It doesn't hurt me but I can tell he's upset. "Why did you bring me here?!" His face is tuning red out of total panic. Slowly, I pull a painted padlock out of my pocket and gently put it into the palms of her hands. "What's this?" His (y/e/c) eyes are on fire when they meet mine. "I can always tell when you remember. I can tell when it hurts you. I thought it would be a good idea to finally get rid of how much it hurts you by locking the negativity on the bridge with this padlock. Look at what it says." Rubbing my arm, I can only hope she doesn't hate me. "(Y/n) and Garrett." He reads the lock. Taking a key out of my pocket on a chain, it slips around his neck carefully. "How did you think of this?" Says (y/n) walking down the strip towards where he nearly jumped, his fingers locked with mine. "I dunno. It's something I thought would work. You'd be closing an old door and opening a new one." The wind blows a bit on the bridge making the atmosphere completely chilling. His small hands cup the lock. "If you don't feel comfortable going near the gate, I can do it?" Looking down into his pretty eyes I can tell he wants me to do it with him. Clicking the little padlock open, both of our hands lock the door that bothers us both by sealing the lock to the bridge. "So you don't hate me for bringing you here right? That's the only thing I'm scared of right now." I was totally telling the truth, my breath hitched into my throat the moment we got here. "Quite the opposite actually." (Y/n) hoisted himself up on a low wall, sitting with one leg swinging. "I already told you how I felt." "I know, I just like to clarify." Leaning back on the same wall, I can't help but smile a little feeling (y/n)s delicate fingers curl around mine. "I know, I just get all nervous and weird around you" He laughed a little bit. "Garret. You're always weird. I've seen your videos" "Hey! My videos are a different world!" A smile spread across both of our faces. It gives me a really nice feeling to see (y/n) living and doing good! "Do you really want to know Gare?" He eyes looked at mine making all of my inner body malfunction from feeling so nervous. "Yes." What a confident answer. "Eyes closed." Ooh that's nerve-wracking. I don't like this. Might as well trust (y/n), I mean he hasn't given me a reason not to? With a quickness, I keep my eyes closed. It makes me feel kinda sick because I can feel that (y/n) removed my glasses but I cant tell what else he might do. Aaaah my head is freaking itself out! Then. It happened! Probably the second most amazing thing to ever happen to me. The first has to be meeting him and helping her want to experience life with me. Without any hesitation, the warm sensation of plush lips against mine caused my startled eyes to jolt open. (y/n) is kissing me again! For real this time publicly!Wait wait wait close your eyes stupid! Kiss him back!

That's exactly what I did. With the flutter of my eyelids and a little bit of hand placement, I returned my affection for him. Nothing would ever replace this memory. However, the night is still young for us.
