jaemin and jeno had been in love for as long as they could remember. they grew up in the same neighborhood, and their parents were close friends. they did everything together, went everywhere together, and shared everything together. pain, happiness, memories — they took on the world, hand in hand.

at six, they promised to marry each other when they grew up.

at ten, they began to notice things that made them feel nervous about the other. the good kind of nervous.

at fourteen, they confessed to each other that the love they felt was more than the love for a friend.

at fifteen, they had their first kiss.

at seventeen, they were deep into a two year relationship, but it felt as if they had loved each other all their lives.

however one day, the scale began to tip. one's love was weaker than the other.

jeno's love was fleeting.
