First, go to the draw option in picsart and choose new and then custom. I use my wattpad template cover size as the standard size of 500×812.
Then I choose the colour I want for my background and use the brush on the biggest size and colour the background.
now you should have reached to this step:

Then, choose a darker colour for your shadow and then using the circle overlapping the square icon click on it and set it as the shape you want. Make sure you choose to fill it.
For the shadow:

Now apply the circle by the required size you want. Click on the background to exit the circle. (Becareful, ONCE YOU EXIT ADJUSTING THE CIRCLE YOU CAN NOT READJUST IT. YOU HAVE TO PRESS ON THE UNDO BUTTON AND DO THE CIRCLE AGAIN).
Now you will have the shadow base adjusted and not selected, go to the colour setting and change to the desired lighter shade of the shadow colour.
