I saw you again this lunch, Lou. Since that night, I've been terrible. But it seemed like you weren't bothered at all. You were fine. More than fine. You were fantastic and it hurt me badly.
People were looking at me weirdly too. They were whispering and laughing at me. Did everybody know about what happened to us? Saying such things as "I can't believe he even dated him." I assume they do. But why were they calling me obscene names? We both know what happened and how it ended, but why were they pointing fingers at me?
But that didn't bother me at all. What bothered me was when I saw you again with her. You looked happier with her, Lou. What does she have that I didn't?
We talked again today, but you pushed me away again. I guess you enjoy pushing me away quite a lot, yes? I just want you back, Lou. I want the old us. I want to go back home to you and feel safe and loved again. But I suppose all of that is gone now.
Why did you even do it? I can feel that there's more to why you cheated and why you weren't happy with me anymore. There has to be a deeper reason. Every mistake has a deeper reason.
Please talk to me again, Lou. I miss you so much. I miss us.
