"Lou, what are you saying?" Disbelief was written all over his face as tears kept rolling down his cheeks. Harry couldn't believe what was happening. He couldn't believe Louis was doing this after what he just witnessed.

Louis looked annoyed as he slipped on his boxers, "I'm saying that I'm not happy with you anymore, Harry!" He was frustrated. He kept doing the same mistakes to purposely push him away and to let him know he was done with him without saying it.

He was kicking things when he looked up at the man he once felt happy with. He was hurt, he could tell. But he didn't feel sorry about it at all.

"We've been together for four years and you're feeling this after all of that? Are fucking serious, Louis?!"

"Are you that dumb? Harry, I've been cheating on you for six months, why can't you just let go of me?"

A dry laugh left his mouth. Harry knew it. He should've let go, but he didn't. He loved Louis so much, that no matter how toxic their relationship was suddenly going he couldn't just let go that easily.

"Then why fucking cheat when you could just say it? Lou, you know I would still understand you even if what you did would kill me. I thought you knew that already, but you didn't. Instead, you broke me piece by piece thinking I might've done wrong or something was missing in me. But, no. You were the one who was in the wrong. You made things harder."

Louis didn't even care. Probably wasn't even listening to Harry, who decided to walk out of their shared home. The place where their love grew and fell apart.

He felt weak, knowing that he isn't with the love of his life anymore.

The pain grew and grew with each step he took further away from the house.

Harry hated it. He hated how much he trusted Louis. How much he still loves Louis even after all the wounds he caused his heart. How much he is now craving Louis' comfort. How much he wanted to turn back and apologize to him.

He hated it so much.

Louis promised him. Promised that it will be him and Harry against everything till their last breath. Even fucking promised that this will be the best Christmas break ever and Harry believed all of it.

But he also believed that not all promises are meant to be broken and that you only believed in the wrong one.
