Dr. Angela Ziegler tapped her nails on the table as she anxiously awaited the arrival of her date. Well, she wouldn't call this a date exactly. Even so, she decided to look her best. The lovely Doctor Angela Ziegler wore a pale blue sun dress that hung right above her knees, and had silver flats to match. Her usual ponytail was in a loose bun, and a few pieces of jewelry adorned her body.
She scanned the surprisingly large restaurant, hoping she hadn't missed Fareeha among the lunch crowd. Sadly, she didn't miss the red-headed woman who fixated herself atop one of the bar stools. Dr. Ziegler took a comical double take as she wished and hoped with all her heart that it was, in fact, not Dr. O' Deorain. Well, the fact was that it was, indeed, who she dreaded it to be.
The woman was a fair enough distance away. Perhaps the blonde doctor would go unnoticed
Inevitably, that would not be the case.
Almost as if directly on cue, the Irish woman turned around and scanned the room while Dr. Ziegler tried her best to blend in with the crowd.
As if the situation for couldn't get any worse, Miss Fareeha Amari walked in just as Dr. O' Deorain began to look in their general direction.
"Dr. Angela Ziegler," Fareeha smiled as she approached the cowering woman.
"Miss... Miss Amari!" She gasped.
Fareeha sat down next to her at the table. She wore a simple outfit consisting of jeans and a leather jacket.
"You look lovely, Angie."
"Why thank you, I think you do as well." She spoke rather quickly for she couldn't concentrate. All she could think about was Dr. O' Deorain. She could feel that woman's eyes burning into her back.
Fareeha nodded and picked up the menu. She immediately began to focus in on what to choose. Dr. Ziegler did the same, but she still couldn't concentrate.
After ordering and receiving their food, Dr. Ziegler finally calmed down enough to have a decent conversation.
"So, Fareeha. What brings you to Sweden?" Dr. Ziegler inquired as she poked at her salad.
Fareeha took a bite of her sandwich. " I was sent here by Helix to collaborate with the Swiss medical base. We need all the help we can get."
"Why did they send you, The captain?"
"Well, my mother and I have the best ties to this base, so it was only common sense to send me."
Angela nodded as she took a few forced bites of her food. Dr. O'Deorain's presence spoiled her appetite.
"Speaking of which, how is the base doing ?" Fareeha smiled.
"Operations are as smooth as ever," she responded. " We've gotten a few more talented medics. Even Dr. Mei-Ling Zhou temporarily relocated here.
Fareeha's eyes widened " You mean another one of the former Overwatch agents? That's so cool..." She trailed off into her own thoughts.
Even after all this time she still didn't lose her child-like awe for Overwatch.
Interrupting this sentimental moment was a strange creaking noise that came from behind Dr. Ziegler, making her flinch. It was followed by a series of footsteps along with the woman muttering prayers under her breath. Please don't let it be her. Please don't let it be her. Please don't let it-
Well fuck.
A tall, ginger woman stood behind a paralyzed Dr. Ziegler.
"Hello, Ladies," the woman spoke smoothly.
