what the fuck is up with mia lately. she replaces mac and i and blames it on me! i can't believe her! she has to understand that i have a dream and i'm following it. i can't be with her all the time. yeah, i know it kinda sucks that i'm not around as much but it's not my fault. my music and my tour is important to me and if she doesn't understand that, then she is a really shitty friend. i decide to text mac about all of this.

bff mac❤️ maddi, please don't say that. we are not replacing you. we just made some new friends. you, mia, and i are best friends and will always be best friends. no one will ever change that. sure, the guys are super funny and sweet and awesome to be with but no one could ever replace you or mia. so shut up with all this dumb talk and go apologize to mia about what you said to her earlier!

after me crying for about a half hour, madison calls me and apologizes. i appreciate her calling me instead of texting. i obviously accept her apology. i hate fighting with my best friends. especially when it's over stupid shit. after she hangs up, i hear someone come into the room i'm in, which now that i notice, i don't even know whose it is.
(a/n this is still after dinner from like 2 chapters ago so they're at the wdw house)
"hey," i hear a familiar voice say. i turn around to see who it was. jack. "hey..." i say signaling him to sit beside me on the bed. "whatcha doing in my room?" he says kinda confused, but i can tell he doesn't mind that i'm in here. "oh sorry didn't know this was your room. i was just thinking." "no, you were crying. i can see the tear stains on you cheek" i turn my face away from him and try to wipe it off. "mia, a pretty girl like you shouldn't be crying. tell me what's wrong" he says grabbing my face and turning it so that our eyes meet. i think about lying but there's no point. "i almost just lost my best friend and we got into a fight and i was really upset. but i just got off the phone with her and we talked and everything is okay now." i say slightly smiling after i finish. he looks at me for a while and then finally says, "well, i'm sorry that happened. good that you guys made up. it really sucks to lose an important person in your life, and i'm glad that you didn't have to go through that." we smile and just stare at each other for a long time. he starts to lean in to kiss me. i do that same. right when we were about to kiss i hear the door open.
"oh um, mac, hey" i say nervously. "mia, jack, um you guys gonna watch the movie?" she says trying not to laugh. i don't understand what's so funny. "yeah, yeah." jack gets up and walks out the door. just as i was about to follow him, mac stops me. "you're crazy mia grace" "i am not!" i say play punching her. "you know you're gonna have to choose someday, soon" she says suddenly getting serious. "yeah, i know." i shrug. she pulls me in for a hug and i hug back. "i love you bff" "i love you too crazy girl. and no matter what your choice is, i'll be here for you." we eventually let go and go downstairs to watch the movie with the rest of the boys.
