Just tell her...it's...easy...right...?
Koichi was afraid of being wrong in front of her.
Not because she would get angry...in fact, now that he thought about it, ever since they'd gotten together, she'd been pretty cool about most things when he was around.
Interesting..., but not the point.
He wasn't afraid out of fear...but more out of shame for letting her down.
Kinda romantic in a way, but terrifying to him. She had so many expectations of him, that he swore to himself, he would die before faulting and/or betraying them. But here he was.
In front of her house. Shaking, sweating. Nervous and afraid that she would be devastated by his mistake. He liked her way too much to let her down like this, but there was no turning back. He'd done it, and now he had to face the consequences.
Even if it meant making his girlfriend think her high hopes were all for not.
Sure he was a nobody, just a everyday highschooler with semi smarts and a kind smile. But to her, he meant the world, as she did to him. He didn't like this.
Taking in a deep breath, he knocked softly on the front door, drawing his arm back as it opened up to his lady, in her usual blue uniform, hair tied into a messy braid and her deep purple eyes sparkling sweetly.
"Morning Koichi-kun~!" she bowed and then hugged him tightly, allowing the few long strands of hair separated from the braid to close the door as she lept into his arms.
"M-morning Yukako..." he smiled and tried to sound confident, but failed miserably.
She noticed right away and frowned.
"What's wrong?" Yukako raised an eyebrow, pursing her lips as she studied his now very clearly worried expression.
He stayed silent, which only made her angeir.
"Koichi tell me what's wrong. I want to help." she hissed, her hair already beginning to come undone in wild swoops.
Oh god....she didn't add the 'kun' part. She meant business. Then again, she always did. It was one of the many things he found very attractive of her.
"I...I failed my science test the other day..." he hung his head with a shameful sigh. "I'm so sorry..."
Yukako stepped back, her hair falling flat amoung her shoulders, and laughed.
Koichi grinned awkwardly.
"I-I know you think I'm some kind genius, but I-" she cut him off with a peck on the cheek.
"You're fine Koichi-kun." Yukako giggled, fixing her hair, taking his hand in hers. "As long as you're mine, no wrong can be done~."
Koichi felt like a huge weight had just lifted, and he grips her hand tight, beaming up at her.
"Let's get to school, shall we?" they began walking, talking and enjoying each other's company as they did so.
Well.....I wanted to do something cute so....here.
